Ciao a tutti! My dear fans!
It's been a while since I personally came on facebook to write a note. You know I am not a big writer-or maybe actually I got too much to say to squeeze this all in into this little box here. Every now and then I post something on twitter as my management says that it is important to give info-but although it can be sometimes fun to do so-I don't like telling people what I do(I don't even share such info with my mamma!).Anyhow-I am here as it is a "tradition" every year and a personal urge to say "MILLE GRAZIE" for all your respect, support and love also in 2012. My team has said everything one can mention but I have to point out in particular that having achieved this international recognition by the latin people who embrassed my recordings as well as the german speaking fans- that has been a very enjoyable treat this 2012-since these are 2 languages and cultures that I admire very much. Gracias and Danke. I am glad the world did not end so that I can in time release my new album mid 2013 and hopefully go on a world tour. This coming year 2013 shall be for us all a chance and reminder to regroupe, to charge ourselves and start life with a new blank page. A new beginning. So far I was blessed with great luck, positive energy, faith, health and good people, but also surrounded by individuals who just based their friendships or job on the amount of work and income they got out of me. I can understand that what I do is not everyones devotion and that people have bills, but don't agree to something and than complain-also I never take credit for my success alone and it shall be seen as a team afford in good and in bad times-and if not "You don't belong to the Pat Pack-ciao". I was told for years and I never believed it but this year I can confirm it 100%: In showbusiness there is no friendship- just jelousy, money and false smiles straight to your face-sad but it is really a fact. Very sad. Those view people have been however this year fired(and you would be shocked to hear if we would reveal their names) and a new chapter will start soon with the rest of the great team that I had till now-never change a winning team. I want to thank my musicians worldwide particularly my musical director Michael Bramwell, my drummer Alex Toff and my guitarist Francesco Lo Castro for their friendship, support and pair of ears and eyes that help me to confirm situations that I question or could not believe myself-Thanks for being "Normal". They are my witnesses of all the lies and topics people wanted me to believe and hammered in my head-although I always said it "seeing is believing". People -just be honest to yourself -lies have short legs-they won't go very far. Don't be so selfish! It does not matter who will be the next world power or who has more or is at the moment considered the best-It is not who runs quicker but who runs longer-rich is not who has more-but who needs less.TAKE A BREATH! I am looking forward seeing you laughing and singing along with me asap.
