◆いちばん偉い者
『 9:33 一行はカファルナウムに来た。家に着いてから、イエスは弟子たちに、「途中で何を議論していたのか」とお尋ねになった。
9:34 彼らは黙っていた。途中でだれがいちばん偉いかと議論し合っていたからである。
9:35 イエスが座り、十二人を呼び寄せて言われた。「いちばん先になりたい者は、すべての人の後になり、すべての人に仕える者になりなさい。」
9:36 そして、一人の子供の手を取って彼らの真ん中に立たせ、抱き上げて言われた。
9:37 「わたしの名のためにこのような子供の一人を受け入れる者は、わたしを受け入れるのである。わたしを受け入れる者は、わたしではなくて、わたしをお遣わしになった方を受け入れるのである。」
9:33 They came to Capernaum, and after going indoors Jesus asked his disciples, "What were you arguing about on the road?"
9:34 But they would not answer him, because on the road they had been arguing among themselves about who was the greatest.
9:35 Jesus sat down, called the twelve disciples, and said to them, "Whoever wants to be first must place himself last of all and be the servant of all."
9:36 Then he took a child and had him stand in front of them. He put his arms around him and said to them,
9:37 "Whoever welcomes in my name one of these children, welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me, welcomes not only me but also the one who sent me."』
