本年明けましておめでとうございます。
例年通り、年賀状に代わる「年賀メール」をお送り致します。
2017年のテーマは「世界の年」でした。
国外には出ませんでしたが、今まで出会ったことのない人たちと多く出会い、新しい「世界」を見ることができました。
消化器病専門医取得、初めてのダンス発表会、久しぶりの骨折×2などのイベントがあったなか、合計1,562件の内視鏡検査・治療を施行させて頂きました。
さて、本年のテーマは、「見た目の年」にしたいと思います。
見た目を良くする、ということは自分にとって優先順位が低く、あまり意識してきませんでした。
ファッションに限らず表情や姿勢や態度、第一印象、身のこなし、習慣、声や口調や文章、社会的なかかわりなども含む広義の見た目を追求したいです。
今までの効率主義を少し緩ませ、違う角度から世界を広げ続けたいと思います。
2018年が皆様にとって幸せ多き年となりますよう心より祈念申し上げます。
本年も、ご指導ご鞭撻の程よろしくお願い申し上げます。

Happy 2018! I trust all is well with you and your family.
As always, I have condensed Christmas cards and New Year greetings into a single message.
In 2017, I became a board certified gastroenterologist and performed in my first dance performance.
I also experienced several injuries (2 broken bones, partial meniscus tear, etc.) but somehow managed to perform 1,562 endoscopic procedures throughout the year.
My theme for 2018 will be: looks matter.
Appearance was never a priority for me. Efficiency and tangible goals always came first.
This year, I plan to focus a little more on fashion, body language, first impressions, prose, being a good listener, fame and glory and all the other stuff that matter, even though other things may matter more.
Finally, I would love to hear from you and correspond on an individual basis.
Communication is a two-way street; I have put my latest "out there" and would be delighted to have your latest "out here."
