本年明けましておめでとうございます。
アフィア株式会社・東海大学医学部の岡本でございます。
例年通り、年賀状に代わる「年賀メール」をお送り致します。
2009年は、私にとって「ソナタの年」そのものとなりました。春には臨床実習を開始し、夏には3ヶ月間ニューヨーク医科大学にて内科実習に参加し、秋には再び日本で実習・学問に励み、冬にはカリフォルニア州の通信制のロースクールを卒業しました。
さて、本年のテーマは、「根気の年」にしたいと思います。
2010年には大きな決断と多くの試験を控えていますが、その中でも揺るがない軸とリズムを保てるように努めたいと思います。短期集中型である自分に安定した成長基盤を備え、特別なイベントや締切がないときでも前に進んだ実感を掴んで行きたいと思います。
2010年が皆様にとって幸せ多き年となりますよう心より祈念申し上げます。
本年も、ご指導ご鞭撻の程よろしくお願い申し上げます。

Happy 2010! I trust all is well with you and your family.
As in the past years, I have condensed Christmas cards and New Year greetings into a single message.
2009 turned out to be “in sonata form” as planned: I began clinical rotations in the spring, ventured out to New York for rotations during the 3 summer months, resumed rotations in Japan in the fall, and graduated from Concord Law School, an online law school in California, in December.
My theme for 2010 will be: A Year of Perseverance.
Despite the major decisions to be made and numerous exams to be taken which will undoubtedly make 2010 a roller coaster, I would like to focus on also acquiring the ability to take the slow-but-steady route in achieving long-term goals. I have always produced the greatest output in the face of deadlines and necessity, but would like to aim for similar results on an everyday basis.
Finally, I would love to hear from you and correspond on an individual basis. Communication is a two-way street; I have put my latest "out there" and would be delighted to have your latest "out here."
