2013年の元旦メッセージ

本年明けましておめでとうございます。
例年通り、年賀状に代わる「年賀メール」をお送り致します。

2012年は「前後の年」と題していましたが、生死と医療にかかわる数多くの矛盾と向き合い、
自分なりの結論に近付くことができた大事な一年だったと思います。

さて、本年のテーマは、「ひとつの年」にしたいと思います。

仕事でひとつ、プライベートでひとつ。
自分にとって中核となるものを見つける年にしたいと考えています。

2013年が皆様にとって幸せ多き年となりますよう心より祈念申し上げます。
本年も、ご指導ご鞭撻の程よろしくお願い申し上げます。

Happy 2013! I trust all is well with you and your family.
As in the past years, I have condensed Christmas cards and New Year greetings into a single message.

2012 gave me the opportunity to face and overcome many situations at the hospital involving
conflict, paradoxes, and no right answers.

My theme for 2013 will be: The Year of One.

I hope to find one thing at work and one thing outside of work this year that will serve as a core for my life going forward.

Finally, I would love to hear from you and correspond on an individual basis.
Communication is a two-way street; I have put my latest "out there" and would be delighted to have your latest "out here."
