ジェームズ・ボーエン James Bowen
1979年サリー(イギリス南東部)生まれ。
幼少期にオーストラリアに移住。

1997年、プロのミュージシャンを志しイギリスに戻るが、様々な困難に遭い路上生活者となる。
バスキング(路上演奏)で生計を立てていた2007年春、生涯の相棒、野良猫のボブと出会う。

誰にでも幸運は訪れるし、かならずセカンドチャンスはめぐってくる。ぼくとボブが手にしたように。

セカンドチャンスとは、犯罪者、 不登校者、中退者、ホームレス、リストラなどによって失敗した人生をもう１度やり直すことで ある。

【コメント】

イギリス、ロンドンを舞台にした実話であるが、日本の猫駅長の話も出てきて驚いた。
