1月14日付：

Yosano was an LDP member before he left to form Tachiagare Nippon last April.  Kan said he will reshuffle the Cabinet to create a new team Friday that will allow him to best "overcome the crisis the nation faces".

この best は何でしょうかね。　やはり副詞で overcome を修飾するのではと思うのですが。。。　多分この場所以外に置き場がないのですね。

もう一つ、以前にも挙げた関係代名詞の主格の省略ですが、典型的な例がありましたので紹介します。

Iran came to the Isatnbul talks with six world powers Friday declaring it would not even consider freezing uranium enrichment - and left the negotiation Saturday repeating the same mantra.  Throughout two days meeting, it stubbornly pushed demands it must have known were unacceptable to the six - a lifting of sanctions and acceptance of its enrichment program before any further discussion of its nuclear activities. 

これは demands と it の間に 主格の関係代名詞 which を入れて読むと解りやすいです。　ここでは　it must have known が挿入句となります。
