大分県別府市の四角と楕円の竹籠

　今日も晴れて気持ちが良い♪　暑いけれど、今の季節は夏野菜と果物の値段がお手頃になってきて帰りに八百屋に寄るのが楽しみです。

　昨日は おかわかめ なるものが108円で売られていたので買ってみました。あとモロヘイヤが130円。どちらともお味噌汁に入れて、それで残りは今日のランチのうどんに刻んで入れてみたら粘々感があり美味しい♪

　あと桃ね。桃も油断をしていると直ぐに時期が過ぎてしまうので、今のうちに沢山食べようと思っています。農家さんが折角育ててくれたのだから沢山買わなきゃね。

　一時期高かったマイタケも１パック６０円とかで売っているので、味噌汁に入れたり沢山食べています。美味しいよね。

　さて　先日に続き別府で手作りされている竹籠のご紹介です♪

　

　竹籠は見た目も涼し気でいいよね。近所へのちょっとした買い物にもいい大きさだし、インテリアとしてお部屋のアクセントに花瓶を入れてお花を飾っても良いし、はたまた手紙や雑誌を入れる入れ物として使ってもよいね。

　

　

　四角い方は奥行きがあり、楕円の方は横に少々長い感じかな。

　四角い方のサイズは　横19ｘ奥行き19ｘ高さ17.5cm

　楕円の方のサイズは　横24 x 奥行き15 x 高さ 14.5cm 

 

　お値段は四角が15,290円、楕円が13,640円

　

　一見四角の方が小さく見えるけれど、正方形なので実際には四角い方が大きいね。

　

　高いけれどそれこそ大切に使えば一生使えるものだし、代々受け継げるもの。

　私ならリビングの小物や書類を片付ける入れ物として、リビングルームのアクセントとしてそのまま飾りたいかな。

Japanese puzzle box Himitsubako and Karakuribako in Tokyo

 There are numerous number of shops in Tokyo and it is nearly impossible to visit all of those stores. 

 Moreover not many stores carry these Japanese handcrafted puzzle boxes called Himitsubako and Karakuri puzzle boxes in Tokyo, that is mainly because there are not enough craftsmen making these boxes and the most of them are old, so they cannot produce that many. 

  

  MA by So Shi Te in Tokyo, however, carries the largest selection of the puzzle  boxes and the store is located near Shibuya. More specifically there is a station called Gaienmae (外苑前), which is only two stops away from Shibuya, and our store is only 1 min walk from that Gaienmae station. 

 

　MA by So Shi Te usually have more than 30 different types of these puzzle boxes. 

  The ones I am holding are the traditional types. 

 

 Karakuri bako usually means the modern puzzle boxes and they come in various shapes and colours. 

　There are more selections at our store and  you can actually touch them at the store.
