クリントン　米国　　情報戦負け　アルジャの勝ち。
米国の国際ニュースはなさけないものになっているが、クリントンの意味での負けは、情報戦での負けではなく、2重基準の米国の政策の敗北である、と。
国際ニュースがなさけないものになっている理由として、海外支局の閉鎖、海外特派員の不足をあげている。

ーーーどうかね？

　アルジャが影響力があるのは、欧米のメディアと違って、現地の人の声、現地に詳しい専門家の声、あるいは、比較的様々な視点を報道していることではないかな？
　スタッフがイスラム教圏の実際を知っているせいか、あまり偏見なく報道できている、ということもあるのかもしれない。

　もっとも、アルジャが中立公正かというと、そうではなく、例えば、経済政策については、反ネオリベ傾向が強い。反ネオリベ傾向が強いのはいいが、しかし、ネオリベ論者の視点、ネオリベ論者との論争ももっともりこむべきであろう、とは思う。

　英米の国際報道が情けないのは支局がないせいもあるかもしれないが、しかし、支局があっても、例えば、日本のメディアの海外支局は、日本でネットで閲覧できる英語記事を現地で日本語に翻訳して、現地発で記事にしているのであまり意味がない。

　日本などわりに海外特派員は”まだ”いる。ようだが、しかし、特派員の仲間内で取材・報道対象を決めて、自分の意見にあった意見だけを引用する。

　例えばの話、鯨問題で、日本に来て日本側の意見を報道するのではなく、SS側の英語を話す外国人の意見を報道している場合もある。

　CNNのキュンラーのような特派員が１00人いても海外報道の質はあがらない。現地で何が起き、何が問題とされているか、どんな不満があるのか、永久に把握できないだろう。本土米国や英国などの人々が、外国もので、見たいと思っているものだけを見せているだけだ。この点、日本の報道でも似たようなものだろうが、世界の動向をつかみそこねる要因になろう。

　こうした語り口は米国好みなのかもしれない。嘘とはいわないが、アルジャなどの報道をみていると、複雑な事情を無視して真実からは遠いのではないか、という印象をもつ。

　そもそも、欧米のメディアではアラブ世界の女性を一様に、ベールを強制された弱き弱者・被害者として表象する場合が圧倒的に多かった。

　ところが、アルジャなどでときどき垣間見るアラブ世界の女性の姿は一様ではなく、解放的で力強い女性もおり、新鮮なものがあった。
　
　ある程度、こうした女性のこうした活動がそもそもなければ、こうした事態に及んで突然政治的活動をしはじめるということはなかろう。
　しかし、欧米のメディアは西洋以外を、あたかもいまだに西洋の中世の時代にあるかのような想定をしている場合が多い。（その想定は根深いようで、有道ブログに参加する若者の間にも見られる。）

　そして、この語り口にあったアラブ女性をーーー多くの場合、英語のしゃべれる西洋に同化した女性をーーーひっぱってきてインタビューするのである。

　自身の語り口にあった見たいものをみるだけの報道になってしまっている

女性の強さとは？
弱さを武器にしたわがままが強さではなく、

映画『ゼロの焦点』で描かれていた戦後の日本の女性にはその強さがあったと思うんです。社会制度で女性が守られるようになったことで失っていく女性の意識もあるとして、それがあの頃の日本女性の強さだとすればもったいない気がします。
日本の女性はそれだけで魅力的です。なんというか、『凛』という言葉がしっくりくるくらい、強くて美しいです。自分の魅力に気が付けばそれを自然に大切にしようとする

　フェミの高邁な思想ではなく、自身の経験と日常生活での格闘から自分の言葉を捻出しようしているところが好感がもてる。
　
　日本も、欧米と同じく、あるいはそれ以上に、雇用差別や昇進差別でまだまだ、改革すべきする点は多い。女性（や男性）が、子供をもちながらやりたい仕事を続けられる体制というのは、男女平等や女性解放の思想からだけでなく、日本の経済発展のためにも必要である。

　他方、日本女性の凛とした強さ、というのは、戦前にも戦後にもあった。欧米のメディアはそうしたものは見たくない。西洋的な女性の強さでない強さは、彼等の視野、彼等の語り口からはみ出てしまうのかもしれない。もっともフィフィさんの趣旨は現代の日本女性もそうしたものをわすれちゃいませんか、というところらしい。わがままな女性は戦前にもいただろうし、凛とした女性は現代にもいるとは思うのだが・・・

地元の意見をきかずに、また、地元の協力者を得ないで、自分たちの基準・方法をたんにおしつけようとするところに失敗の始まりがある。


スーパーのトイレ周辺に３時間半　熊本・女児遺棄容疑者

2011年3月5日

山口容疑者が３日午後４時ごろに入店する姿が映っており、その後約３時間半にわたって、店内の通路や商品陳列棚付近、トイレ近くのベンチなどにいる姿が記録されていた。特に目立つような行動はなく、顔を隠すための変装などもしていなかったという。

３日午後７時半ごろには、心ちゃんがトイレに入った後、山口容疑者がトイレに入り、約１５分後に膨らんだリュックを背負って出てくる姿も映っていた。

この卑劣な行動の動機はなんだったのか？

　熊本市で3歳の女の子が遺体で見つかった事件で、山口芳寛容疑者（20）が送検された時の映像では、警察を出る際はフードで顔を隠していました。そして2分後、車で移動中の山口容疑者は、隣の警察官と普通に会話しているように見えます。しかし、肝心の犯行動機はいまだ明らかにされていません。

　動機については依然、分かっていませんが、警察では、わいせつ目的の可能性もあるとみて調べています

　なんとなく同情するところはある。

　私の推測にすぎないが、この方、こうした児童虐待についての怒りもまんざら嘘ではない。で、あれば、ジャーナリストとして、日本語の記事を書けばよかったのだが、日本語の記事が独力で書けるほど日本語が完全ではない。そこで、メディアが好む　性と暴力ネタを特に欧米人好みに英語で書いて、生活の糧を得ていた、といったかんじではないだろうか？

特別支援学校教諭ら逮捕＝中1男子を買春容疑－児童ポルノ製造の疑いも・警視庁に関する記事。
　児童ポルノ所持自体を罰しないから、児童を現実に性的虐待する事件で容疑者を逮捕しにくい、そこで、米国同様にせよ、といういわば、広告記事。

　もちろん、児童の虐待にせよ、性的虐待は断じて処罰されなければならない。
　しかし、児童ポルノ画像所持と児童の性的虐待という犯罪との因果関係、および、児童ポルノの基準が曖昧である。水着を着た男子なり女子の写真をもっていているだけで、逮捕する権限を警察に与えていいのか？という問題は残る。

"There is a hierarchy of moral values in the yakuza world: trafficking women and child pornography are very low, very bad," Adelstein says. "And then there's (bar) hosts. They think of hosts as the scum of the earth. In terms of the yakuza though, anyone who is involved in child pornography ― not the distribution, but are actually in it or are molesting kids ― they are dead meat. I know one case of a guy who molested a 4-year-old girl in a neighborhood where (the yakuza) were present and they chopped his arm off and dropped him off at the hospital."

　
　ヤクザにも倫理があって、児童ポルノの製造は最低とされ、4才の少女に猥褻行為した男がヤクザに腕を切断され、病院の前で置き去りにされたケースを知っている、と。

核は「持てるが持たぬ」が賢明だ

冷戦構造が消滅した現在、仮に北朝鮮が日本に小規模な核を一発落としたとして、米国は必ず核で報復してくれるだろうか。理論的にはそうであっても、米国が核以外で対応をする可能性はある。

わが国はすでにミサイル防衛網を強化しつつあり、状況次第では敵地攻撃能力も整備し得る。その日本が国会をはじめ公開の場でタブーなしで「日本の核」を論じ、日本が核保有へと転換しないようにと、周辺諸国が祈りつつその論議に耳を傾けるような状況もまた一つの抑止力になるであろう。

　高いコストを払って独自核を保有するよりも、その分、通常戦力を強化して、その分野で独自性を増し、対米依存度を減らすことの方が、有効かつ現実的である。

そんなところかもしれない。


海賊？商船三井タンカー、アラビア海で襲われる

　海賊とみられるメンバーはタンカーに乗り移ったが、周辺海域で海賊を警戒していた米軍などが、タンカーが襲撃されているのを発見し、対応にあたった。

是正は超党派で速やかに行うべきである。直近の２年に限らず、保険料を払えるだけ払ってもらう。払えない分は加入期間として認めるが、受取額には反映させない。そうした内容なら、公平性と救済を両立できる。

なるほど。

　政治家でもジャーナリストでもそうだが、自分たちの子供の世代、孫の世代の日本がよくなっているように、政治をするなり、政治記事を書くなりしてもらいたいものだ。政党間抗争、派閥抗争をしている場合でもなかろう。

　ゴタゴタこのネタで引っぱられるより、あっさりやめた方がいい、という判断だろう。これはこれで立派。

　しかし、自民党政権が民主党に変わって、この足の引っ張り合いはなにか変わったのだろうか？

　問題行動でなかったというわけではない。政治家の金の問題について追及すべきであるが、しかし、政治家の金の問題を一つクリアして国民生活が、日本全体が、どれほどよくなったのか、どれほど不幸が減ったのか？

　政治やメディア報道の勢力の配分がおかしい。そんな余裕があるのか？


騒ぎすぎ…茂木氏「京大、お前は死んだ！」

　京都大の入試問題を質問サイトに投稿したとして、偽計業務妨害容疑で逮捕された仙台市の男子予備校生（１９）。予備校生の処分が注目される中、インターネットを中心に「たかがカンニングで騒ぎすぎ」という論調も目立ってきた。

　急先鋒ともいえるのが、脳科学者の茂木健一郎氏。メディアに対して、「クズ新聞、クズテレビ、クズ大学、これで満足したか？」と自身のツイッターやブログを通じて批判。とくに「自由な校風」で知られる京大については、自治の精神の重要性を説きながら、「京都大学、お前は死んだ！　お前は、もはや、世界的水準の、ａｃａｄｅｍｉｃ　ｉｎｓｔｉｔｕｔｉｏｎ（研究の中枢）ではない！」とまで言い放っている

　これも報道の配分の問題。
　言いたいことはわかるが、しかし、言い方が激しい。私も気をつけなくては・・・

北京市当局が市民の携帯電話の位置情報から一人一人の行動を確認して社会管理などに役立てる制度の導入を検討していることが明らかになり、市民らからは「プライバシーの侵害」「市民監視」などと反発する声が上がっている。中国メディアが６日までに伝えた。

　、管理社会もここまでくると、SFの話が現実化してきたような。もっとも、問題はこと中国だけの問題ではなかろう。

“The square is absolutely thronged with supporters of Gaddafi,” McNaught said. But she added that some of these 'supporters' had admitted to a fellow British journalist on Sunday that they were in fact army and police personnel in civillian clothes.

To leftists, pro-American sentiment is evil and anti-American sentiment is good. Even when the Korean government staged a military coup and was corrupt, the leftists admired the government if it was anti-American and overthrew it if it was pro-American. This was also true with the anti-establishment leftist groups in the 1970s that worshipped leaders such as North Korea`s Kim Il Sung, Libya`s Moammar Gadhafi and Cuba`s Fidel Castro.
The Ven. Jin Gwan, a leading leftist Buddhist monk, wrote in June 2002, “Why don’t we have a leader like Gadhafi?” He said, “Libya has been well off after Gadhafi drove out the U.S. We must learn from Libya how to live without the U.S. presence in our country.”

　北朝鮮の大飢饉が迫っているのに、韓国は、食料援助しなくていいのか、と。
　この論者の発言はどうも臭い。

　誰にも看取られることなく飢えて息を引き取る命がある。

　飢饉の問題は関係国すべて、あるいは、国際的な問題。
　そして、必要な人に必要な食料を確実に渡すという手続き保障をとらない北朝鮮がもっとも責めを負うべき。
　北朝鮮と通じている中国、ロシアの責任も重い。

　しかし、誰に一番、責任がのしかかろうと、

　誰にも看取られることなく飢えて息を引き取る命がある、

　のは変わらない。責任逃れしている場合でもない、のも事実・・・・悲しみが追い付かない、割り切れないものは残る。

Like most Paris schools, the Ecole des Hospitalières-Saint-Gervais bears a sombre plaque. It reads: "165 Jewish children from this school, deported to Germany during the second world war, were exterminated in the Nazi camps. Do not forget."

Tina Frundt, the founder and executive director of Courtney’s House, a non-profit organization that helps girls and women who have been victims of human or sex trafficking said many in the US believe there are lots of laws which protect trafficked children, when in reality there are not. In many cases children are penalized for actions they had no ability to consent to or escape from.
Frundt, a victim of sex trafficking herself, explained the trade in Washington is nothing new; it has been ongoing for over 50 years.
“It has always been trafficking controlled. It didn’t go away, the crime just got bigger,” she said.
Numerous types of men take part in the trade, from lobbyists, to businessmen and possible even congressmen may be involved.
Frundt explained there needs to be more education for children regarding the dangers and the involvement of younger girls with older men.
“How it usually happens is a pedophile manipulates a child,” she explained.
There needs to be greater information available so children can protect themselves from these dangers, and greater laws need to be in place to aid in protecting children. Laws need to be enacted to better charge traffickers; including adding known traffickers to the sex offended lists. Right now, they are not. Instead the incidents are labeled prostitutes and the children and adult victims are ignored by the system.

Over the road in the Panzer, a grocery store, the shop assistant refuses to talk about Galliano. "We're always being called 'dirty Jews'; there's always been antisemitism here and there always will be. It upsets me, but it doesn't shock me." Galliano was filmed telling the two women he thought were Jewish that their relatives would have been "fucking gassed".
・・・・・Like a sore that never completely heals, antisemitism erupts in France, which has the biggest Jewish community in Europe, with depressing regularity. Toni Kamins, the American author of The Complete Jewish Guide to France, observes that since Roman times Jews have been subject to vilification and humiliation. It is a history scarred with mass expulsions, forced conversions to Christianity, crippling taxation, segregation and "both systematic and random physical violence and murder".

In 1982, after a terrorist bomb planted outside the Copernic synagogue in Paris killed four people – only one of them Jewish ― the then prime minister, Raymond Barre, spoke of "a heinous act" that had struck "innocent French people". When a British-born rabbi, Michael Williams, tried to visit the injured in hospital, he says he was told: "Get the hell out of here. You're responsible for this."

Then, in 2006, a 23-year-old mobile-phone salesman was kidnapped and horrifically tortured for three weeks before being left for dead because he was Jewish and his Muslim attackers assumed his family had money.

Until recently the extreme-right Front National of Jean-Marie Le Pen was the political face of antisemitism in France. Since his daughter, Marine, became leader, it has moved away from historical revisionism and has its sights on France's Muslim population.

In the Marais, many Jews now blame antisemitism on immigrants from France's former north African colonies, and on the country's traditional special relationship with Arab countries.

The Jewish community's Protection Service documented 466 reported antisemitic incidents in 2010 – down from a 10-year peak of 974 in 2004 – but says many more go unreported. It says most attacks can be linked to Muslim fundamentalists.

A French newspaper website recently asked: "Is France ready for a Jewish president?" Dominique Strauss-Kahn, head of the International Monetary Fund and a potential candidate in next year's presidential elections, was recently described by an opponent as "cosmopolitan" and "not the image of rural France", both well-known French euphemisms for being Jewish.

Jérôme believes the idea of the "enemy within" – epitomised by the Dreyfus case – is a cause of antisemitism that is unique to France. "I think it makes some people angry that Jewish people are so well integrated that, while they know we are here, they don't know who we are."

He describes a Gallic attitude to its Jewish population that is two-faced: "The Jews who were deported and died during the second world war were mostly denounced by French people, but those French Jews who remained in France and lived were saved by French people."

It is 4.30pm, and across the other side of the Marais from La Perle the bell rings at the Jewish school. Pupils do not stream out of the door. Instead, a nervous-looking man with a walkie-talkie propels them into waiting cars.

In his grocery store, not far from Goldenbergs, the restaurant that was targeted by terrorists in 1982 and is now a men's clothing shop, Dan says that local people live in fear of attack.But he adds: "It's a peaceful place on the whole. We have a Jewish saying: you can tell what's in the heart of a man by how he behaves when he's drunk, when he's angry and when he has money. I think we have seen what's in the heart of Galliano."
