イザヤ書５２章

聖なる都エルサレムよ！目を覚ませ！力を着よ！美しい衣を着よ！これからはもう、割礼のない者も汚れた者も、あなたのうちに入れないからだ。
2 エルサレムよ！塵から身を揺り動かし、起き上がって座り、シオンの捕われの娘よ！あなたの首の帯を解き放て！
3 主はこう仰せられる。
「あなたがたはただで売られ、ただで贖われる。」
4 主なる神はこう仰せられる。
「わが民は以前エジプトに下って、そこに寄留したが、アッシリアは理由もなく彼らを圧迫した。
5 さて、主は言われる。
わたしの民が無益に奪われるのを見て、わたしはここで何をするべきか。
主は言われる。
彼らを支配する者どもは吠え、わたしの名は一日中、絶えず冒涜されている。
6 それゆえ、わたしの民はわたしの名を知り、その日、わたしが語った者であっても、見よ！わたしはここにいることを知るであろう。」
7 平和を告げ知らせる吉報の使者、救いを告げ知らせる吉報の前触れの足は、山の上で何と美しいことか。
シオンに向かって言う。
「あなたの神は再臨する。」
8 あなたの番人よ！聞け！ 彼らは声をあげ、共に歌う。彼らは目と目を合わせて、主がシオンに帰って来られるのを見るからだ。
9 なぜなら、主は御自分の民を慰め、エルサレムを贖われたからである。
10 主はその聖なる腕を、すべての国民の目にさらし、地の果てはすべて私達の神の救いを見るであろう。
11 あなたがたは出発し、そこから出て行き、汚れたものに触れず、その中から出て行き、主の器を持つ者達は清くなりなさい！
12 あなたがたは急いで出て行ってはならない。また、飛んで行ってはならない。
13 見よ！わたしの僕は栄え、高く上げられて非常に高くなるであろう。
14 多くの人がテーレに驚嘆したように、その容貌は人のものと異なり、その姿は人の子らと異なっていた。
15 そのため、彼は多くの国を驚かせ、王達は彼のせいでその口を閉ざすであろう。

1 さめよ。さめよ。力をまとえ。シオン。あなたの美しい衣を着よ。聖なる都エルサレム。無割礼の汚れた者が、もう、あなたの中に入って来ることはない。
2 ちりを払い落として立ち上がり、もとの座に着け、エルサレム。あなたの首からかせをふりほどけ、捕囚のシオンの娘ｙ。
3 まことに主はこう仰せられる。「あなたがたは、ただで売られた。だから、金を払わずに買い戻される。」
4 まことに神である主がこう仰せられる。「わたしの民は昔、エジプトの下って行ってそこに寄留した。またアッシリヤ人がゆえなく彼らを苦しめた。
5 さあ、今、ここでわたしは何をしよう。―主の御告げ―わたしの民はただで奪い取られ、彼らを支配する者たちはわめいている。―主の御告げ―また、わたしの名は一日中絶えず侮られている。
6 それゆえ、わたしの民はわたしの名を知るようになる。その日、『ここにわたしがいる』と告げる者がわたしであることを知るようになる。」
7 良い知らせを伝える者の足は山々の上にあって、なんと美しいことよ。平和を告げ知らせ、幸いな良い知らせを伝え、救いを告げ知らせ、「あなたの神が王となる」とシオンに言う者の足は。
8 聞け。あなたの見張り人たちが、声を張り上げ、共に喜び歌っている。彼らは、主がシオンに帰られるのを、まのあたりに見るからだ。
9 エルサレムの廃墟よ。共に大声をあげて喜び歌え。主がその民を慰め、エルサレムを贖われたから。
10 主はすべての国々の目の前に、聖なる御腕を現した。地の果て果てもみな、私たちの神の救いを見る。
11 去れよ。去れよ。そこを出よ。汚れたものに触れてはならない。その中から出て、身をきよめよ。主の器をになう者たち。
12 あなたがたは、あわてて出なくてもよい。逃げるようにして去らなくてもよい。主があなたがたの前に進み、イスラエルの神が、あなたがたのしんがりとなられるからだ。
13 見よ。わたしのしもべは栄える。彼は高められ、上げられ、非常に高くなる。
14 多くの者があなたを見て驚いたように、―その顔だちは、そこなわれて人のようではなく、その姿も人の子らとは違っていた―
15 そのように、彼は多くの国々を驚かす。王たちは彼の前で口をつぐむ。彼らは、まだ告げられなかったことを見、まだ聞いたこともないことを悟るからだ。

Awake, awake, put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.
2 Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem; loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion. 
3 For thus saith the LORD: Ye were sold for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money. 
4 For thus saith the Lord GOD: My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.
5 Now therefore, what do I here, saith the LORD, seeing that My people is taken away for nought? They that rule over them do howl, saith the LORD, and My name continually all the day is blasphemed.
6 Therefore My people shall know My name; therefore they shall know in that day that I, even He that spoke, behold, here I am. 
7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of the messenger of good tidings, that announceth peace, the harbinger of good tidings, that announceth salvation; that saith unto Zion: 'Thy God reigneth!'
8 Hark, thy watchmen! they lift up the voice, together do they sing; for they shall see, eye to eye, the LORD returning to Zion.
9 Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem; for the LORD hath comforted His people, He hath redeemed Jerusalem.
10 The LORD hath made bare His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God. 
11 Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, ye that bear the vessels of the LORD.
12 For ye shall not go out in haste, neither shall ye go by flight; for the LORD will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rearward. 
13 Behold, My servant shall prosper, he shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high.
14 According as many were appalled at thee--so marred was his visage unlike that of a man, and his form unlike that of the sons of men--
15 So shall he startle many nations, kings shall shut their mouths because of him; for that which had not been told them shall they see, and that which they had not heard shall they perceive.
