eleventh-hourつて？　以前にも目にした事があったのですがやりすごしていました。　今回目にしたのは次の文章の中です。

Behind the scenes, Amman held eleventh-hour negotiations on a hostage swap with the group, but evidently those attempts ended unsuccessfully.

辞書で調べてみると：

If someone does something at the eleventh hour, they do it at the last possible moment.

なるほどと納得した次第です。
