（ブルームバーグ）： 三菱ＵＦＪフィナンシャル・グループ傘下の三菱ＵＦＪ証券ホールディングスは30日、欧州子会社での米顧客との取引において多額の損失が生じる可能性があると発表した。29日時点での損失の見込み額は約３億ドル（約330億円）という。

関係者によると、この損失は米アルケゴス・キャピタル・マネジメント関連の取引によるもの。野村ホールディングスやクレディ・スイス・グループでも同社との取引で多額の損失を計上する可能性があることが分かっており、金融機関への影響が広がっている。

三菱ＵＦＪ証券の発表によると、取引に関連するポジション処理や市場価格の変動などで損失額は増減する可能性がある。顧客先や取引内容については触れていない。損失が発生しても、業務遂行や財務健全性に問題が生じることはないともした。影響の程度が判明次第、速やかに公表するとしている。
