1 year before

悪夢の出来事の発端から1年が過ぎた。

あの頃は、1年後に今のような平穏な日々が来るかどうかも
わからなかった。

その悪夢の発端の一年前は、
その先に待ち受ける苦難なんて想像もできなかった。

そう、
1年は変わるに充分な期間なのだ。

これからも、1日、1日の積み重ねが重要であることがわかる。

MBA熱再びか？

といった記事が最近、
日経や日経産業新聞に出ている。

詳しい話はそれらを見てもらうとして、
ホントにそうなんだろうか？
（少々、話をすると、松下電器やヤマハなど、
企業派遣を増員、再開した、というお話。）


国内も含めて、一時加熱したブームは過ぎたような気もする。
単に自分が第一線を退いたから？

去る11月4日には、
ＭＢＡツアーがフォーシーズンズホテルで開催された。
これはTOPMBA（QSグループ）が
毎年世界各地主催するもの。
参加校を見ると、
有名校の参加が減ったような気もするのだが。

自分の母校が載っているのは嬉しいものである。

玩具メーカーの戦略とは？

先の「ガイアの夜明け」で
タカラトミーの事例を扱っていた。

何でも、少子化で玩具市場が急縮小しているらしい。

でも、少子化でもＶ字カーブを描いて回復した
Ｂｅｎｅｓｓｅ（旧福武書店、「進研ゼミ」）の例もあるし、
（これも最近の「日経ビジネス」で特集組んでた。）
甘いなぁ、という感じだが。

子供がダメなら、大人、シルバー世代、
「大人の玩具」という触れ込みであったが、
これは違うと思う。

「趣味の道具」とか「健康ツール」というのが
次なる玩具メーカーの市場セグメントではないか。
「遊ぶ」のではなく、「余暇を過ごす」、「健康になる、健康に過ごす」
というのが効用であり、それは「玩具」という領域を超えている。

実際、これは「ろくろ倶楽部」
という初心者でも楽しめる陶芸セットであり、玩具ではなかった。
最初、玩具としてみていたせいか、
原宿のKiddy Landや、東急ハンズというチャネルで販売したが、
あまり結果が思わしくない。
試しにホームセンター（ジョイフルホンダとかカインズとか）に置いたら
売れ始めたという。

ゲームの話の時にも書いたが、
これからはエンターテイメントではなく、
より人生のためになる、人生に役立つ製品を、
新たなセグメントとして出すべきではなかろうか。

余談であるが、
安野モヨコの「働きマン」に出てくる
「５４」という小説、作中では５４歳の中年オヤジの純愛を描いて、
大ベストセラーとなるのだが、
実際あれば、読んでみたいものである。
