1988年の毎日新聞の日曜版に掲載された七十編。すべてが四百字詰め原稿用紙に三枚半の千四百字。
著者が言うごとく、ここに顔を並べている主人公たちは、あなたでもあり私自身でもある。
日常の心に残るワンショットが巧みに描かれてる。
