イザヤ書４章

また、その日、七人の女が一人の男をすがりついて言います。
「私達は自分のパンを食べ、自分の服を着ます。
ただ、あなたの名で呼ばせてください！
私達のそしりを取り除いてください！」
2 その日、主の若枝は美しく輝き、地の果実はイスラエルの逃れた者のために、すぐれて美しくなるであろう。
3 シオンに残る者、エルサレムに残る者は聖なる者と呼ばれ、エルサレムでいのちのために書かれた者もみな、聖なる者と呼ばれるようになるであろう。
4 主がシオンの娘たちの汚れを洗い流し、裁きの霊と滅びの霊によって、その中からエルサレムの血をきよめられた時である。
5 主はシオンの山の全住居とその集会の上に、昼は雲と煙を、夜は燃える火の輝きを造り、すべての栄光の上に天蓋を置くでしょう。
6 また、日中、暑さをしのぐ陰となり、嵐と雨をしのぐ隠れ家となる天幕があるでしょう。

1 その日、七人の女がひとりの男にすがりついて言う。「わたしたちは自分たちのパンを食べ、自分たちの着物を着ます。私たちをあなたの名で呼ばれるようにし、私たちへのそしりを除いてください。」
2 その日、主の若枝は、麗しく、栄光に輝き、地の実は、イスラエルののがれた者の威光と飾りになる。
3 シオンに残された者、エルサレムに残った者は、聖と呼ばれるようになる。みなエルサレムでいのちの書にしるされた者である。
4 主が、さばきの霊と焼き尽くす霊によって、シオンの娘たちの汚れを洗い、エルサレムの血をその中からすすぎ清めるとき、
5 主は、シオンの山のすべての場所とその会合の上に、昼は雲、夜は煙と燃える火の輝きを創造される。それはすべての栄光の上に、おおいとなり、仮庵となり、
6 昼は暑さを避ける陰となり、あらしと雨を防ぐ避け所と隠れ家になるからだ。

And seven women shall take hold of one man in that day, saying: 'We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel; only let us be called by thy name; take thou away our reproach.'
2 In that day shall the growth of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.
3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written unto life in Jerusalem;
4 when the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof, by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of destruction.
5 And the LORD will create over the whole habitation of mount Zion, and over her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory shall be a canopy.
6 And there shall be a pavilion for a shadow in the day-time from the heat, and for a refuge and for a covert from storm and from rain.
