昨日のIF(International Forum)

昨日のIF(Inetrnationl Forum)のトピックは "WikiLeaks" による情報のLeakの是非についてでした。　賛否両論でしたがAssangeの取った行動を擁護する意見の方がやや多かった。

用意された資料に中に次の文章がありました。

The First Amendment:

The first of ten amendemnts to the constitution of the United States, collectively known as the Bill of Rights. 

日本語では、「アメリカ合衆国憲法修正第一条」と言い, 言論、新聞、宗教の自由を保証した条項のことです。

もう一つ会話の中で出てきたイディオム  rat race:

If you talk about getting out of the rat race, you mean leaving a job or way of life in which people compete aggressively with each other to be successful.  （コウビルドによる）

来週は都合により欠席のため、実質的には今回が今年最後のIF.　今年は80%位の出席率でなかなか高いと思っています
