辛夷

３月３０日（水）

同じく三ッ池公園にあるミセスマスダの大好きな辛夷、年々丈高くなり白い花が空いっぱいに広がっている。池面に枝垂れているのも美しい。ミセスマスダは「私の樹」と言っている。

A Magnolia Kobus(Kobushi) of Mrs. Masuda's favorite in the Mitsuike Park grows big 

year by year, and a white flower spreads to over the sky.
It is beautiful to hang down on a pond side also.
Mrs. Masuda says "my tree".

桜

３月２８日（月）

 桜の名所　神奈川県立「三ッ池公園」。何時もの散歩道である。

桜が七十八種・千六百本と言われている。絶好の桜日和であった。

Famous spot of cherry  blossoms.      Kanagawa Prefectural "Mitsuike park."
It is a usual promenade for me.
The cherry blossoms of 78 kinds・1,600 trees are planted in the park.
It was perfect cherry  blossoms weather.

椿

３月２７日（日）

晩秋から初冬に掛けて咲く早咲きの椿「西王母」に始まり三月末頃まで

十種類余の椿が咲く。今日は今咲いている椿を一輪ずつ鉢に浮かべ愉しんでいる。

Many camellias bloomed in our garden.
I floated a large number of camellias on a bowl and enjoyed it.

ちいさな花

３月２５日（金）

小さな鉢に咲いたムスカリ、愛らしいなあ。

これから暫くはティータイムは外でも楽しめそう。嬉しい事だ。

The grape hyacinth (Musukari) which bloomed in the small bowl was lovely.
We can enjoy our outdoor tea-time with the flower for a while from now on.

It is so nice thing.

郵便受けのもとにあった雪柳は大きくなり過ぎたのか、二、三年前に姿を消してしまった。ところが、この春、何と嬉し事だろう小さな芽が見え始め花まで咲き始めた。

"The spirea"(Yuki -Yanagi) next to the mailbox became too big.

Then it had disappeared a few years ago.
However, what a nice thing, it began to show a small bud and to bloom this spring.

白木蓮

３月２１日（月）

次男の結婚記念に植えた白木蓮、１９９５年だったから２７年という時が経つ。長いなあ、でもアッと言う間との感も。

The yulan (Haku-Mokuren) which we planted in commemoration of the marriage 

of our second son. It was 27 years ago.
We feel long time.
However, we feel  short time too.

水仙

３月１６日（水）

今年も水仙が沢山咲き始めた。

２０本ほど切り取って仏壇とダイニングテーブルの上に飾った。

美しい香りに満たされている。

A lot of narcissus has begun to bloom this year at our garden.
We cut 20 of them and displayed them on the Buddhist altar and the dining table.
We can smell a good fragrance in the room.

ローズマリー

３月１６日（水）

キッチンの出口の辺りでハーブを育てているが、何と嬉しい事だろう

ローズマリーがこんなに美しい花をつけ始めた。

We planted herb at the exit of our kitchen.
A rosemary of the herb has beautifully bloomed.
Glad.

竹垣

２月１６日（水）

10年振りに表の竹垣を新調した。出入りの庭師親子二人で４日掛かりの大仕事であった。

昨年末に作って貰いスッキリした新年を迎えたかったが庭師の仕事の閑散期の２月に

なった次第だ。

Ten years passed and we had the new bamboo fence of our garden.
It was a 4-day big job with two gardeners. 

We were not able to get the New Bamboo fence by New Year holidays.
However, we  could get the New Bamboo fence  in February of the off-season of the gardener.

白梅

２月８日（火）

玄関脇の白梅が漸く咲き始めた。紅梅が花を見せるのももう直ぐであろう。

昨日７日、ワクチンの接種券が届いたので、近くのホームドクターにお願いして、

三回目のワクチンを受けた。ちょっとばかり安心！！

The white plum blossoms at our entrance gate have begun to finally bloom.
The red pulm blossoms will bloom soon, too.

Today, we had the third vaccine for Covit-19 by our family doctor nearby.
We were slightly relieved.

立春

２月４日（金）

立春。我家の庭にも小さな春が兆し始めている。

水仙・福寿草 etc

紅梅・白梅の莟も目にた,etc.つように膨らんできた。

本当の春まで、もう一踏ん張りだ！！

Today is Risshun(The first day of Spring).
It begins to show signs of early spring in our garden.
Narcissus(Suisen)and Pheasant's-eye(Fukuji-sou).

The bud of a plum with red and white blossoms swelled out, too.
The real spring will come soon.

蘭

１月３１日（月）

蘭が咲いた。寒中の暖というところ、デンドロビウムだろうか？

家には６、７鉢の蘭があるが上手に育てる事が出来ない。

そんなわけで譬え１，２輪でも花開くととても嬉しい。

An Orchid bloomed. It is Dendrobium.
There are 6~7 orchid bowls, but cannot take care well.
That's why we are very glad when it's bloom even one or two of them.

寒木瓜

１月１８日（火）

寒も半ば、寒い日が続いている。オミクロン株の感染者は恐ろしいほどの増え方だ。

庭の片隅では寒木瓜の莟が日毎その色を深めている。

花も幾つか・・・。

A cold day continues.　The infected person of the Omicron virus is increase as it is terrible.
The bud of "the winter Japanese quince (Kan-Boke)" deepens the color day by day in the corner of our garden.　There are some Red flowers ・・・

初雪

１月６日（木）

六日、昼頃から雪になった。暗くなる頃まで降り続いた雪は７，８センチ位だろうか。

庭の佇まいも見事な雪景色に。

元朝に出窯した茶碗でのお茶の時間。雪見のお茶となった。

　　　茶碗は「藁灰の乳濁釉」に「鉄赤釉」を薄くあしらってみた新作である。

　　　気に入っている。

　　　お供は虎屋の「孟春の虎」。

On the daytime of 6th, it started the snowfall.

The snowfall continued to the night time and snow was piled up around  8 centimeters.
The scenery of our garden became the wonderful snow scene, too.
We enjoyed the tea ceremony with the bowl which I made for the new year.
The bowl was my new works which garnished "the emulsion glaze of the straw ash" with "an iron red glaze" thinly.

The ceremony was "the tea of the snow-see viewing".
We ate Japanese sweets "a tiger of the beginning of spring" of Toraya with tea.

蠟梅（ろうばい）

四、五日前、植木屋さんが暮の手入れに入ってくれた。すっかり綺麗になった庭、

佳いお正月が迎えられそうだ。

未だ枝に大分残っていた葉をすっかり取り除いてくれた蠟梅の老木には蕾が

いっぱいついていて、昨日、今日、一つ二つと綻び始めた。

A gardener came to our garden  for cleaning up several days ago.
Our Garden became really beautiful. We can celebrate good New Year holidays.
Two or three bud of "the Japanese allspice(Roubai)" that a gardener trimmed 

has begun to bloom.

カトレヤ

１２月１４日（火）

Sさんより今年も見事なカトレアを頂いた。Sさんは御自宅に温室を持っていて

蘭を育成している。我々は毎年頂戴した蘭を愛で、クリスマスやお正月を華やいだ気分で

過ごしている。

We were given a wonderful "Cattleya" by S-san the other day.
S-san has a greenhouse in the home and cultivate several orchid.
We can enjoy Christmas and New Year holidays for the joyful feeling with the "

Cattleya".
