ビルが立ち上がると詠んだが、ビルが建築されたというわけではない。

句のビデオをご覧いただければ、よくご理解いただけると思う。

梅雨時の低い垂れ込めた雲に押しつぶされそうになっていたビルが、晴れ上がった空へ屹立している様を「立ち上がる」と形容した。

 

それだけではなく、浅草から水上バスに乗ってここまでくるとにわかに、ビル群が立ちふさがる。

浅草近辺では、スカイツリーやアサヒビール本社くらいしか低い町並みでは目立たなかったのだが、ここへ来ると一気に景色が変わる。

古い日本から、新しい日本へ切り替わる。

その変化を水上バスからながめていると、どきどきする。

 

そうした、感覚も句に込めたのだが、読みとっていだけたでしょうか？

 

水上バスでは、浜離宮庭園を経由して、台場まで行った。

水上バスでは、デッキに１時間ほど立っていた。

デッキに立つと、江戸（東京の昔の名前）が隅田川を初めとする、河川の水運を中心に発展したことがよく分かる。

しかも、隅田川は広々としていて、デッキに立って、橋の下をくぐるときには、手が橋に着きそうになる。

 

デッキの先頭に立って、風を受けて両手を広げるとタイタニックの主人公になったようだ。

後方から追い抜いてきた、チャーター船の訪日された皆さんに手を振って歓迎したら、続々とデッキに出られて、東京の広い空や景色を隅田川から楽しまれていた。
