STEPHEN HAWKING DIES AT 76宇宙物理学者ホーキンス博士が死去

World-famous physicist Stephen Hawking has died. Considered one of the brightest minds of his era, Hawking spent much of his life in a wheelchair. He became a symbol of strength and was determined to show he would not be limited by a disability.
Hawking was known for his research into black holes and the creation of the universe. His book, "A Brief History of Time," became a bestseller.
Hawking suffered from a rare form of a motor neuron disease that left him in a wheelchair. He continued to work in theoretical physics throughout his life. In recent years, he warned the development of artificial intelligence could spell the end of the human race.
British media report his family issued a statement saying he was a great scientist and an extraordinary man. His courage and persistence, with his brilliance and humor, inspired people across the world.
Stephen Hawking was 76.
