The senses’ might grows strong

United with the god’s creative work;

It presses down my power of thinking

Into a dreamlike dullness.

When godly being

Desires union with my soul,

Must human thinking

In quiet dream-life rest content.

 

感覚の力はますます強くなり

神の創造的な仕事とひとつになる

 

それは私の思考の力を抑え

夢のような鈍さに変えていく

 

神なる存在が

私の魂と結びつくことを望んでいるこの季節

人間の思考は

静かな休息のなかにある
