◆ファリサイ派の人々とヘロデのパン種
『8:14 弟子たちはパンを持って来るのを忘れ、舟の中には一つのパンしか持ち合わせていなかった。
8:15 そのとき、イエスは、「ファリサイ派の人々のパン種とヘロデのパン種によく気をつけなさい」と戒められた。
8:16 弟子たちは、これは自分たちがパンを持っていないからなのだ、と論じ合っていた。
8:17 イエスはそれに気づいて言われた。「なぜ、パンを持っていないことで議論するのか。まだ、分からないのか。悟らないのか。心がかたくなになっているのか。
8:18 目があっても見えないのか。耳があっても聞こえないのか。覚えていないのか。
8:19 わたしが五千人に五つのパンを裂いたとき、集めたパンの屑でいっぱいになった籠は、幾つあったか。」弟子たちは、「十二です」と言った。
8:20 「七つのパンを四千人に裂いたときには、集めたパンの屑でいっぱいになった籠は、幾つあったか。」「七つです」と言うと、
8:21 イエスは、「まだ悟らないのか」と言われた。
8:14 The disciples had forgotten to bring enough bread and had only one loaf with them in the boat.
8:15 "Take care," Jesus warned them, "and be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and the yeast of Herod."
8:16 They started discussing among themselves: "He says this because we don't have any bread."
8:17 Jesus knew what they were saying, so he asked them, "Why are you discussing about not having any bread? Don't you know or understand yet? Are your minds so dull?
8:18 You have eyes-can't you see? You have ears-can't you hear? Don't you remember
8:19 when I broke the five loaves for the five thousand people? How many baskets full of leftover pieces did you take up?" /"Twelve," they answered.
8:20 "And when I broke the seven loaves for the four thousand people," asked Jesus, "how many baskets full of leftover pieces did you take up?" /"Seven," they answered.
8:21 "And you still don't understand?" he asked them.』
