ダブルヘイターって言葉
私は最近まで知りませんでしたが
アメリカ国民に蔓延してたそうです。
分かり易い話です
トランプも嫌いだけどバイデンも嫌い
そんな国民の事です。
私はアメリカの大統領選挙の投票権はありませんが
もしアメリカ国民だったら間違いなくダブルヘイターでしたね。
投票に行く気にならなかったと思います。
それがハリスさんの登場によって
ダブルヘイターがハリス支持に回りますから
どうやらトランプ楽勝と言われてたのに
結果は分からなくなりました。
その意味では選挙に対して希望が持てなかった
ダルブルヘイターの皆さんにとっては
バイデンさんの撤退は朗報でしたね。
私は日本人ですからダブルヘイターは関係ない
この言葉を聞いた時には一瞬そう思いましたが
少し考えれば
日本も一緒ですね。
もうすぐ総選挙がありますが
私自身は今の自民党に投票する気にもなりませんが
かと言って野党もいまいち力不足ですから
どうもそこにも貴重な一票を投ずる気にもなりません。
その意味ではダブルヘイターの葛藤を私自身も味わってる
そう思います。
ただアメリカと日本の状況は大きく違いますよね
ヘイトって言葉は憎む
って意味ですが
ダブルヘイターはトランプもバイデンも
その個人を嫌ってる訳です。
ところが私たち日本は
個人と言うより自民党や立憲民主党
その政党を支持できないって事であって
岸田さんや泉さんを憎んでる訳ではありません。
少し極端かも知れませんが
アメリカは個人に対して恨みを募らす
日本は政党を嫌う
って感じで大きく違います。
まぁ選挙のシステムが違いますからね
どうしてもそうなりますよね。
直接大統領を選ぶアメリカと
議院内閣制の日本
私たちは直接首相を選べる訳ではありません
だから個人に恨みを募らす事もありませんが
個人を崇拝する事も無いのです。
それと日本とアメリカの違いは
日本の初代の首相伊藤博文が就任したのは1885年
アメリカの初代大統領ジョージワシントンが就任したのは
それより約100年早い1789年
にも関わらず
アメリカは今バイデンさんが４７代目の大統領ですが
日本の岸田総理は100人目の総理です。
つまり
日本のトップはアメリカに比べて
力も無ければコロコロ代わる
そんな物だって事です。
何で日本はそうなのか？
って話ですが
まぁ私ごときが分かる訳はありませんが
何となく感じるのは
日本は島国ですから
和に重点を置いて国がまとまってる
それがアメリカとの違いだと思います。
って言う事は
この国で生きるには
周りとの協調
これが大切だって事です。
今いじめだのパワハラだの
って社会問題になっていますが
その被害に遭わないためにも
島国日本の
和をもって尊し
って言葉を頭に入れた方が良いかも知れません
まぁそうは言っても
世の中には絶対に仲良くしたくない
そんな人間はたくさんいますが
それでも嫌う
この程度で収めた方が良いでしょうね
それが憎むまで行ってしまうと
どんな組織でも排除圧力が働きます。
最近は少なくなりましたが
数年前までは私の周りには
露骨に隣国を憎む
そんな人たちがいました。
人を憎むってのは
自分が暴行を受けたとか
子供が殴られたとか
そんな相手に対してなら仕方がありませんが
ただネットの情報で憎しみまで行くのは
少し問題ですよね。
私自身が距離を置くようになりましたが
孤独な人生になって行きます。
この隣国嫌いの人たち
実際には隣国が力をつけてきて
その恐怖からそうなってくる
これも良く理解できました。
憎むことは恐れてる事
まぁそんな理屈もありますから
なるべく
人を恐れず
人を憎まず
これを心掛けるべきでしょうね。
私自身はずいぶん前からそれを意識しています
嫌いな人間はいますが
今憎いと思う人間は一人もいません。
だから穏やかに生きていられるのです。
I didn't know the term "double hater" until recently,
but it seems to be widespread among the American people.
It's a simple story.
it's about people who hate Trump but also hate Biden.
I don't have the right to vote in the US presidential election,
but if I were an American citizen,
I would definitely be a double hater.
I don't think I would have felt like going to vote.
But with Harris' appearance,
the double haters started supporting Harris,
so even though it seemed like Trump would win easily,
the result became unclear.
In that sense, Biden's withdrawal was good news for the double haters who had no hope for the election.
I'm Japanese, so double haters have nothing to do with me.
When I heard this word, I thought so for a moment,
but if I think about it little further
it's the same in Japan.
The general election is coming up soon,
and I don't feel like voting for the current Liberal Democratic Party,
but the opposition party is also weak,
so I don't feel like casting my precious vote there either.
In that sense,
I feel like I'm experiencing the conflict of a double hater myself.
However, the situation in America and Japan is very different.
The word hate means to hate,
but double haters, like Trump and Biden, hate individuals.
However, in Japan, we cannot support the Liberal Democratic Party or the Constitutional Democratic Party, rather than individuals,
and we do not hate Kishida or Izumi.
This may be a bit extreme,
but America harbors resentment towards individuals, while Japan hates political parties, so it is very different.
Well, the electoral systems are different, so it is inevitable.
America directly elects the president, while Japan has a parliamentary cabinet system.
We cannot directly elect the prime minister,
so we do not harbor resentment towards individuals,
but we do not worship individuals either.
Another difference between Japan and America is that Japan's first Prime Minister, Hirobumi Ito, was inaugurated in 1885,
and America's first President, George Washington, was inaugurated in 1789, about 100 years earlier.
However, Biden is now America's 47th President, while Prime Minister Kishida is Japan's 100th Prime Minister.
In other words, compared to America,
Japan's leaders are weaker and change all the time.
Why is this the case in Japan?
Well, there's no way someone like me can understand,
but I somehow feel that because Japan is an island nation,
the country is unified with an emphasis on harmony,
and that's the difference with America.
This means that cooperation with others is important to live in this country.
Bullying and power harassment are now social problems,
but to avoid becoming a victim,
it may be a good idea to remember the words of the island nation of Japan,
"harmony is the most important thing."
there are many people in the world who absolutely do not want to get along,
but it is better to keep dislike at this level.
If it goes as far as hatred,
any organization will be pressured to exclude.
It has become less common recently,
but until a few years ago, there were people around me who blatantly hated our neighboring country.
Hating someone is inevitable if it is someone who has assaulted you or beaten your child,
but it is a bit of a problem to go as far as hating someone based on information on the Internet.
I have started to distance myself too
Their life is becoming lonely.
I can understand that these people who hate their neighboring country are actually doing so out of fear of the neighboring country as it grows in power.
Hating is being afraid,
and there is a logic to that,
so we should try not to fear people and not hate people as much as possible.
I've been aware of this for a long time.
There are people I dislike, but now there is no one I hate.
That's why I can live peacefully.
