80TH ANNIVERSARY OF PEARL HARBOR ATTACK真珠湾攻撃80年 犠牲者追悼式典

Tuesday marked the 80th anniversary of Imperial Japan's surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, which triggered U.S. entry into World War II.
Relatives of those who died have joined veterans for a memorial service on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.
A moment of silence was observed to remember the victims at 7:55 a.m., the time the attack began on December 7, 1941.

Warplanes of the Imperial Japanese Navy attacked the military bases and warships stationed there. About 2,400 Americans died in the attack that brought the U.S. into World War II.
