Iranian female soccer fans have watched an international match at a stadium for the first time in decades.
The women were allowed to watch a World Cup second-round qualifier between Iran and Cambodia on Thursday. They cheered from a 4,000-seat women-only section.

"It was great. We had a really good time watching the game. I believe this move will contribute to Iranian women's rights."
Women have been mostly banned from watching men's sports at stadiums in Iran since shortly after the Islamic Revolution in 1979.
The ban was lifted after the death of a woman last month who set herself on fire as she faced jail for trying to sneak into a stadium dressed as a man to watch a match.
Soccer's world governing body, FIFA, released a statement asking for the ban to be lifted.
