エズラ記１章

ペルシャ王クロスの第一年に、エレミヤを通して語られた主の言葉を実現するために、主はペルシャ王クロスの霊を奮い立たせて、王国中に宣言を送り、それを次のように文書化しました。
2「ペルシャのクロス王は、次のように言っています。
『天の神である主は、地のすべての王国を私に与えられ、ユダのエルサレムに主の家を建てるように私を任命されました。 
3　あなたがたのうち、主の民に属する者は誰でも、その神が彼と共にあり、ユダのエルサレムに行って、イスラエルの神である主の家を建てることができますように！
4そして、生き残った者はどこに住んでいても、エルサレムの神の家のための自由意志からの供え物とともに、銀、金、品物、家畜をその地方の人々に援助してもらいなさい！』」
5　従って、ユダとベニヤミンの家長、祭司とレビ人、すなわち、神が霊を奮い立たせた者はみな、エルサレムにある主の家を建て直すために上る準備をしました。
6　隣人達は皆、自由意志からの供え物の他に、銀や金の品物、品物や家畜、貴重品などで彼らを支えました。
7　クロス王はまた、ネブカデネザルがエルサレムから持ち去って、自分の神々の神殿に置いた主の家に属する品々を持ち出しました。
8ペルシャの王クロスは、会計係のミテレダテの手でそれらを持ち出させて、ユダの王子シェシュツァルに数えさせました。  
8 すなわち、ペルシヤの王クロスは宝庫係ミテレダテに命じてこれを取り出し、その数を調べさせ、それをユダの君主シェシュバツァルに渡しました。
9 その数は次のとおりです。
金の盆三十個、銀の盆千個、刃物九十二個。
10 金の鉢三十個、銀の鉢二種四百十個、その他の器一千個。
11 金と銀の器はすべて五千四百個でした。
捕囚の民がバビロンからエルサレムに引き上げた時、シェシュバツァルはこれらをすべて持ち帰りました。

2 「ペルシヤの王クロスは言う。『天の神、主は、地のすべての王国を私に賜った。この方はユダにあるエルサレムに、ご自分のために宮を建てることを私にゆだねられた。
3 あなたがた、すべて主の民に属する者はだれでも、その神がその者とともにおられるように。その者はユダにあるエルサレムに上り、イスラエルの神、主の宮を建てるようにせよ。この方はエルサレムにおられる神である。
4 残る者はみな、その者を援助するようにせよ。どこに寄留しているにしても、その所から、その土地の人々が、エルサレムにある神の宮のために進んでささげるささげ物のほか、銀、金、財貨、家畜をもって援助せよ。』」
5 そこで、ユダとベニヤミンの一族のかしらたち、祭司たち、レビ人たち、すなわち、神にその霊を奮い立たされた者はみな、エルサレムにある主の宮を建てるために上って行こうと立ち上がった。
6 彼らの回りの人々はみな、銀の器具、金、財貨、家畜、えりすぐりの品々、そのほか進んでささげるあらゆるささげ物をもって彼らを力づけた。
7 クロス王は、ネブカデネザルがエルサレムから持って来て、自分の神々の宮に置いていた主の宮の用具を運び出した。
8 すなわち、ペルシヤの王クロスは宝庫係ミテレダテに命じてこれを取り出し、その数を調べさせ、それをユダの君主シェシュバツァルに渡した。
9 その数は次のとおりであった。金の皿三十、銀の皿一千、香炉二十九、
10 金の鉢三十、二級品の銀の鉢四百十、その他の用具一千。
11 金、銀の用具は全部で五千四百あった。捕囚の民がバビロンからエルサレムに連れて来られたとき、シェシュバツァルはこれらの物をみないっしょに携えて上った。

9 And this is the number of them: thirty basins of gold, a thousand basins of silver, nine and twenty knives; 
10 thirty bowls of gold, silver bowls of a second sort four hundred and ten, and other vessels a thousand.
11 All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and four hundred. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up, when they of the captivity were brought up from Babylon unto Jerusalem. 

In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, to fulfill the word of the LORD spoken through Jeremiah, the LORD stirred the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia to send a proclamation throughout his kingdom and to put it in writing as follows:
2“This is what Cyrus king of Persia says: ‘The LORD, the God of heaven, who has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, has appointed me to build a house for Him at Jerusalem in Judah. 
3Whoever among you belongs to His people, may his God be with him, and may he go to Jerusalem in Judah and build the house of the LORD, the God of Israel; He [is] the God who is in Jerusalem. 
4And let every survivor, wherever he lives, be assisted by the men of that region with silver, gold, goods, and livestock, along with a freewill offering for the house of God in Jerusalem.’”
5So the family heads of Judah and Benjamin, along with the priests and Levites— everyone whose spirit God had stirred— prepared to go up and rebuild the house of the LORD in Jerusalem. 
6And all their neighbors supported them with articles of silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with valuables, in addition to all their freewill offerings.
7King Cyrus also brought out the articles belonging to the house of the LORD that Nebuchadnezzar had carried away from Jerusalem and placed in the temple of his gods.
8Cyrus king of Persia had them brought out by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, who counted them out to Sheshbazzar the prince of Judah. ‪‬ 
9This was the inventory: 30 gold basins, 1,000 silver basins, 29 silver utensils, 
1030 gold bowls, 410 matching silver bowls, and 1,000 other articles. 
11In all, there were 5,400 gold and silver articles. Sheshbazzar brought all [these] along when the exiles went up from Babylon to Jerusalem.
