Bertrand Russell, “History of Western Philosophy” のBook III Part II ch. 22(Hegel)まで読み進めました。
Russell
“At the present time, Hitler is an outcome of Rousseau; Rosvelt and Churchill, of Locke.”
“Do the citizens exist for the sake of the State, or the State for the sake of the citizens? Hegel holds the former view; the liberal philosophy that comes from Locke holds the latter.”
