綱引きの練習をしています。低学年、中学年、高学年と３つに別れて競技をします。果たして勝つのは赤でしょうか？白でしょうか？
The children are practicing tug of war. The low, middle, and upper grades are split into 3 groups. Who will win? Will it be Red team or White team?
運動会の練習が続いています。開閉会式の練習では、今年度１０周年として特別に行う入場行進の練習も行いました。
The practice for the school altletics festival continues. As it is the 10th year anniversary this year, special practice for the entrance parade is also being held.

The practice for the athletics festival has begun. First, we begin with cheering practice. We split up into white and red teams and prcaticed using loud voices.
いよいよ水泳シーズンも終わり、学校でもプール納めとなりました。９月９日（金）、１年生は着衣泳に挑戦しました。体の力を抜いて物につかまることで、呼吸を確保し、身を守ることを学習しました。
At last the swimming season comes to an end and the school's pool has been closed. On Friday, September 9th the first graders tried swimming in the pool fully clothed. They learned how to use their full strength to grab items from the pool, ensure breathing, and how to protect themselves from danger.
夏休み明け、８月３０日（火）～９月１日（木）まで常永小体育館にて夏休み作品展が行われました。図工、家庭科等の工作、理科や社会の自由研究はどれも力作揃いでした。１５０名以上が観覧され、盛況のもとに幕を閉じました。
Soon after summer vacation ended, the student's summer vacation arts crafts were displayed in the school gym from August 30th till September 1st. A collection of works ranging from crafts, home made items, food, and free study research projects were presented. It was a big success with over 150 people visiting before the exibits were closed.
