【国際理解教育事業-International Understanding】

(Nagoya International J&H School) English after Japanese language

文部科学省指定のスーパーグローバルハイスクールアソシエイト校、国際バカロレア・ディプロマプログラム認定校でもある名古屋国際中学高等学校のフィリピン国際理解研修の保護者・生徒説明会を実施いたしました。

本研修は、マニラの路上やごみ処分場等のアイキャン事業地において、同世代の若者と「理想の社会」について話し合い、それぞれが理想に向かい協力して行動していくことを目的としており、2011年から開始後、今年で6回目となります。

アイキャンでは、平和を作るためには、一人ひとりが「できること」を実践することが大切であると考え、青少年への研修に力を入れています。

We conducted a briefing session on a Philippine tour for Nagoya International Junior and Senior High School which has been designated a Super Global High School (SGH) Associate and also recognized as an International Baccalaureate World School.

This tour aims to come up with ideas of “ideal society for youth (vision of future society)” and bring actions by youth who have different backgrounds. This is the 6th tour after stared in 2011. We believe youth has a power to change the society.

【路上の子どもたち-Children on the Street】

JICAフィリピン事務所の年次報告書に、路上の若者が運営する「カリエカフェ」が掲載されます。ありがとうございます。

当事業は、元路上の若者たちが、カフェの運営に挑戦していくプロジェクトで、JICAと皆さまからのご寄付によって、運営しております。カリエカフェの「カリエ」は、フィリピンの言葉で「路上」という意味です。

マニラ市には、路上の子どもたちが、毎日ご飯を食べ、シャワーを浴び、読み書きを学べるアイキャンのドロップインセンターがある。常に路上で命の危険に晒される子どもたちが、安心してお昼寝することができる場でもある。皆さまからのご寄付で、活動を継続させてください。

In Manila city, there is a drop-in center where children on the street can eat, take showers and learn how to read and write everyday. It is also a space where children who are always at life risk can take naps without any fear from any forms of danger.

【紛争地の子どもたち-Children in Conflict Affected Areas】

アイキャンは、紛争が続くフィリピンミンダナオ中部のイスラム教徒ミンダナオ自治地域(ARMM)と南部のソクサージェン地方の中で平和教育に力を入れている学校が一同に集まり、平和教育の好事例を共有、更に平和教育を広めていくための戦略を話し合う「平和の学校コングレス」を開催しました。

私たちは、政治的に不安定な状況が続いているフィリピン南部ミンダナオ島において、平和教育を活性化させ、地域に平和を齎していきます。

ICAN held “The School of Peace Conference” for schools with active peace education programs in ARMM and Region 12 in Mindanao. They shared their success stories and discussed the strategies to promote peace education in other areas of Mindanao.

We achieve peace in conflict affected areas of Mindanao through Peace Education.
