在日フィリピン人を支えている日本のNGO ”ANGAT（アンガット）様”が、2015年9月20日に横浜開港記念館において、フィリピン映画「ノノ　見つけた！僕のコトバ！」（監督：ロメル・トレンティーノ氏）のチャリティ上映会を開催いたします。収益金は、アイキャンを通じて、フィリピン各地の災害被災地で活用されます。

A Japanese NGO “ANGAT” is going to hold a charity screening of a Filipino movie called “NONO” (directed by Mr. Rommel Tolentino.) on September 20, 2015. The proceeds will be utilized for rehabilitation of disaster affected areas in the Philippines through ICAN.

This is the 2nd donations from ANGAT. We appreciate this continuous partnership.

【災害の影響を受けた子どもたち-Children in Natural Disaster】

70年前の1944年10月、フィリピン・レイテ島ドゥラグ町とパロ市にマッカーサー率いる米軍が上陸、この後、レイテ島は、米軍と日本軍の激しい戦闘の場となり、多くの命が失われました。

2年前の2013年11月には、このドゥラグ町周辺が大型台風の上陸地点となり、甚大な被害を出しました。認定NPO法人アイキャンは、NGOとして最も早くこの地に入り、現在までにドゥラグ町の北半分16村の約3,500軒の家の建設、115教室の建設・修復等を行ってきました。

現在、現地では、学校の修復や収入を増やす活動等が、行われています。継続的な活動にご協力をお願いいたします。

It was in October 1994 that American soldiers headed by General MacArthur landed in Palo and Dulag. Many lives were lost due to the battles between Japanese soldiers and American soldiers in Leyte that time.

2 years ago, typhoon "Haiyan" landed in eastern part of leyte such as Dulag and Palo. We ICAN entered this areas 4 days after the disaster and have constructed around 3,500 houses and 115 classrooms till now. We are still working in this area.

【国際理解教育／開発教育－Development Education】

アイキャンは、フィリピンブラカン州にある私立学校Immaculate Conception School of Baliuag（幼稚園～高校レベル）と、開発教育を推進していくための合意書を交わしました。アイキャンは、この合意書の元、同校生徒に対して、路上の子どもやごみ処分場等の事業地訪問の受け入れやフィリピン開発課題に関する授業の実施、日本の学校との国際交流等の推進を担います。

アイキャンは、日本の学校における開発教育のみならず、フィリピンの学校における開発教育を積極的に進め、社会をよりよくするために行動する人材の育成に力を注いでいます。

ICAN and Immaculate Conception School of Baliuag(ICSB), a private school in Bulacan, the Philippines, signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) for enhancing Development Education in the school. Based on this MOA, ICAN is providing opportunities for the students of ICSB to visit our project sites and accept lectures on poverty and development issues as well as taking part in international exchange programs with Japanese schools.

We continue our commitment to raise awareness of both Japanese and Filipino youth on development issues.

2014年度、アイキャンのプロジェクトを通じて、48,772 人・団体の生活が向上し、15,417人・団体が、「できること(ICAN)」を実践しました。
