紛争の影響を受けた子どもたち-Children in Conflict Affected Areas Sep 2 (3)

ミンダナオ島の奥地リグアサン湿地帯の紛争地帯にある小学校の校長先生。世界から忘れられたようなこの地に、ICANが来たことをとても喜んでくれた。

いつも思うことがある。

社会の「周辺」には、いつもとてつもなく大きな理不尽な状況が横たわっている。しかしながら、同時に、そのそばには、必ずその状況を改善しようと、必死でもがいている人たちがいる。このような状況でも必死で授業を行う先生たちや真剣に学ぶ子どもたちだ。

私たちは、このような人々とともに歩み続けるために存在するのだと、彼ら、彼女らは、いつも教えてくれる。

She is the principal of one elementary school along the river in conflict affected area of Liguasan Marsh, Central Mindanao. She was glad that ICAN had managed to come all the way to this place which seemed to be forgotten from “the world”.

Always, there are so many injustices in periphery of society. However, beside them, there are always people who are struggling to improve the situations. Some of them are the teachers trying their best to provide basic education to the children here and the children trying their best to study without any materials and proper classrooms.

They always remind us that we exist to walk with these people.

ミンダナオ中部リグアサン湿地帯の紛争地帯にある川沿いの小学校。2014年1月4日、バンサモロ・イスラム自由戦士（BIFF）と政府軍の戦闘に巻き込まれ、教室が破壊された。銃痕と焼けた教室の壁が当時の戦闘の激しさを物語る。机や椅子はその時、盗難に遭ったが、子どもたちは、冷たい地べたに座ったり、外の竹の教室で、必死で勉強している。

ICANはこれまでに、このミンダナオの紛争地域において、25教室を建設してきた。2014年は10月までに新たに6教室を完成させる。教育なしに、平和はありえない。子どもたちに一日も早く平和な社会を。

This is one elementary school along the river in conflict affected area of Liguasan Marsh, Central Mindanao. On January 4, 2014, it was forced to be involved in the conflict between government forces and the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Forces (BIFF). The bullet holes and burn marks tell how intensive it was. Although most of chairs and tables have been stolen, many children are studying very hard on the floor or outside.

ICAN has constructed 25 classrooms and additional 6 classrooms will have been built by this October in theses conflict affected areas of Mindanao. No education, no peace. We want peace for children.

Needs assessment of “School of Peace” in one conflict affected area of Liguasan Marsh, Central Mindanao. There are North Cotabato on the left side and Magindanao on the right side. Conflicts between government forces and the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Forces (BIFF) have occurred from August 2013 to March 2014 in this area.

フィリピン超大型台風被害 救援活動報告 Sep.2(1)

3月からの頑丈なお家作りでは、現地の資材不足に泣かされながら、ようやく目標の1,744世帯中1403世帯（80.4%）まで完成した。（12月～1月の家の資材提供による1,667世帯を含め、3,411世帯の完成。）

ドゥラッグ町の対象16のバランガイの1つ、ロムアルデス。この村では、全壊家庭106世帯中87世帯（82.1%）の建築が終了。破壊された村が、見事に蘇った。村を歩く。

Finally, 1,403 houses out of 1,744 target houses (80.4%) have been constructed after many hardships related to procurement. ( Including 1,667 houses of phase 1 between Dec and Jan, total of 3,411 houses have been constructed by now.)

Brgy Romualdez, one of the 16 brgys in our project areas of municipality of Dulag.
87 houses out of 106 totally damaged houses (82.1%) in this brgy have been completed as of now. The community which was devastated by the super typhoon has been recovering.
