感情を抑える能力はあっても感情を操る技術は無い

私がこのブログで頻繁にトランプの事を書くものですから

知り合いから言われました。

川端さんトランプが好きですよね

って

残念ながらその指摘は間違いです。

私はトランプが嫌いです

では嫌いなのに何で書いてるか？

嫌いな奴の悪口を言ってスッキリするため？

それも間違いです。

実は私トランプは嫌いですが

大いに興味はあるのです

だからトランプの発言も毎日英語で直接聞いていますし

そのトランプを批難するコメントもたくさん読んでいます

そうしてる内に

嫌いではありますが

トランプについてはより理解が進み

そしてそれが自分の会社経営にも生かせる

こんな域まで達しています。

嫌いだけど興味が湧いて来た理由

それは彼が大統領になったからです。

アメリカの主要なマスコミもFOXニュース以外は全て反トランプでしたが

それだけマスコミに叩かれても

国民はトランプを大統領に選んだ

その理由に興味があって

嫌いなトランプの情報をたくさん見たのです。

そのおかげで

彼が領に選ばれた理由は何となく分かりましたし

このブログでも書きましたのであえてそこには触れませんが

トランプの話をたくさん聞いて分かった事の一つに

マスコミで作られたイメージと実際のトランプは違う

って事です。

と言うよりそのイメージはトランプ自身があえて作り上げています。

つまり傲慢で強欲で頑固

しかも軽薄

こんな人物像がマスコミからは伝わってきますが

多分実際のトランプは違います。

それは彼と直接1対1で話した人たちからの情報で分かります。

直接話した人でトランプの悪口を言う人はまずいないのです。

赤澤経済担当大臣も褒めていましたが

例えば国境を1300キロも接していて

ロシアの脅威を直接受けてるフィンランドと言う国があります

フィンランドは過去にロシアに領土を奪われていますから

そのストレスは大きい訳です。

ですからロシアのウクライナ侵攻を見て危機感を募らし

2年前にNATOに加盟しました

しかしアメリカがいざと言う時に動かなければ

その加盟は意味がありませんよね。

だからわざわざアメリカまで行って

トランプと会談って事になったのですが

その会談の後に

トランプは明確な戦略を持っていて

それで動いてる

って褒めてましたね。

つまり彼のハチャメチャな発言は

全て計算づくでやってる訳で

一見感情に支配されて口から出てるように見えますが

そうでは無い

って話です。

まぁ多分その通りなんでしょうね。

大体あれだけの資産を築いたり大統領なったりする人が

感情に流されて生きてる筈はありません。

零細不動産屋にはたくさんの感情の制御ができない社長さん達がいましたが

私の知る限り悉く潰れましたからね。

私はそれを目にしたおかげで

感情制御は会社経営には欠かせない

それをしっかり頭に叩き込んでます。

ただ会社経営の難しさは

利益を追求する訳ですから

自分の評判だけ高めても務まりません。

理由はあまりにも物分かりが良いと

舐めてかかってくる人がいるからです。

ですから

私自身今でも同業者とは言い争う事がありますし

たまには顧客に対しても強く出る事があります。

そして会社経営の難しい所は

社員に対しても時々強さを見せなければいけない

って事です。

過去には私が物分かりが良すぎたために

社員の中には勘違いして

最低限の分がわきまえられなくなり

去って行った人もいます。

その後に反省しました

あまりにも親しくし過ぎたために

誤解させてしまった

と

まぁそんな感じで

時々社員が一線を越えた

そう思った時には強く指導する

これも会社経営では欠かせません

ただ私の欠点は

感情を封印する事はできますが

トランプのようにそれを操るのはできません。

ですから

怒る時には本当に腹を立てています。

これではたくさんの人の上には立てませんね

その意味でも私は零細企業の経営が限界

って事です。

 

 

 

I often write about Trump on this blog,

so an acquaintance of mine said to me,

 "Kawabata-san, you like Trump, don't you?",

that's incorrect.

I hate Trump.

So why am I writing about him if I hate him?

To feel better by badmouthing someone I hate?

That's also incorrect.

The truth is, I hate Trump,

but I'm very interested in him.

So I listen to what he says in English every day, and I read a lot of comments criticizing him.

As I do this,

I've come to understand him better,

even though I hate him,

I've even reached a level where I can use that knowledge to run my own company.

The reason I'm interested in him, even though I hate him, is because he became president.

All major media outlets in the US are anti-Trump, except for FOX News,

but even though he was criticized by the media,

the people voted him president.

I was interested in why that was,

so I looked up a lot of information about Trump,

Thanks to that,

I somehow understood why he was chosen as the president,

and I wrote about it in this blog,

so I won't go into it here,

 but one thing I learned from listening to Trump a lot is that the image created by the media is different from the real Trump.

Or rather,

Trump himself has deliberately created that image.

In other words,

the media portrays him as an arrogant, greedy, stubborn, and frivolous person,

but the real Trump is probably different.

You can see this from information from people who have spoken directly with him one-on-one.

There are quite a few people who say bad against him

Minister of Economy Akazawa praised him,

there is a country called Finland,

which shares a 1,300 km border with Russia and is directly threatened by Russia.

Finland has history that their territory was taken by Russia

so the stress is great.

when they saw Russia's invasion of Ukraine,

they felt a sense of crisis and joined NATO two years ago.

But if America doesn't act when it's time,

that membership is meaningless.

So the president went to America to meet with Trump,

and after the meeting he praised Trump for having a clear strategy and acting on it.

In other words,

all of his crazy statements are calculated,

and although it may seem like he's being controlled by his emotions,

that's not the case.

Well, that's probably true.

There's no way that someone who has built up such a large fortune and become president would be living their life being swayed by their emotions.

There were many presidents of small real estate agencies who couldn't control their emotions, but as far as I know, they all went bankrupt.

Because I saw that,

I've firmly ingrained in my mind that controlling my emotions is essential to running a company.

However, the difficulty of running a company is that company has to pursue profits,

so you can't do it by just improving your own reputation.

The reason is that there are people who will underestimate you if you're too easygoing.

So even now,

I still argue with another real estate agents

and sometimes I get tough with my customers.

And the difficult thing about running a company is that you have to show strength to your employees sometimes.

In the past,

An employee misunderstood because I was too friendly

and he couldn't understand their minimum moral as an employee

II thought that I had been too close and caused them to misunderstand.

So, sometimes,

when I think an employee has crossed the line,

I give them strong guidance.

This is also essential in running a company.

However, my weakness is that I can suppress my emotions,

but I can't manipulate them like Trump.

So when I show my anger,

I get really angry.

I can't be a leader of many people

In that sense,

I'm at my limit when it comes to running a small business.
