数千人の中で一番恰好良かったお父さん

月初は管理物件の清算が大量にあって多忙です。

ですから昨日は都庁に行かなければならなかったのですが

朝早く社員が出社する前に出かけて行きました。

そうするとちょうど通勤時間帯

って事になりますね。

久しぶりに乗りました

満員電車に

通勤の皆さん毎日大変ですよね

ただこんな話で気が休まるかどうか分かりませんが

皆さん昔と比べるとかなり楽ですよ。

満員電車と言っても

昔の満員電車は本当にぎゅうぎゅう詰めで

車掌さんがドアの外から押して中に人を詰めてましたから

ある意味人間は物扱いでしたね。

若い女性であろうが何であろうが

駅員は全身を押しまくってましたから

今であればセクハラって事になるかも知れません。

しかも冷房の無い車両もありましたから

扇風機だけで湿気がこもる地獄の暑さに耐えてたのです。

にも関わらずですよ

サラリーマンの皆さんはスーツにネクタイでしたから

まぁ辛かったですよね。

ところが今はすっかりラフになりました

スーツを着るどころか

上着も持ってないし

ネクタイを締めてる人も全くいなくなりました。

こうなると思いますよね

ネクタイ産業は苦しいだろうな

って

通勤客の服装はラフになりましたが

髪型も本当に落ち着きましたね

男性で髪を染めてる人はほとんどいませんし

女性もごくわずかです。

パーマをかけてる人もほとんどいませんね。

大丈夫でしょうか？美容室の業界は・・

それと女性はほとんどがズボンになりましたね。

痴漢対策なんでしょうかね？

昔はミニスカートの女性がたくさんいましたので

いつも思っていました

痴漢を期待してるのか？

って

まぁ実際に勘違いした男が痴漢に走った

そんな事も多かったんでしょうね。

ファッションは若者が流行をリードする

昔からそんな感じでしたが

今は高校生も落ち着いた格好になりましたね

いわゆるヤンキー系の人は一人も見ませんでした。

そう言えば昔ヤマンバメイクをしてた高校生たち

今は４０過ぎになったんでしょうかね？

って事は今の高校生たちは娘？

かも知れませんね

ヤマンバから清純な子たちが生まれたんですかね？

そんなお母さんたち

自分の昔の写真を子供に見せられますかね。

そんな事を考えながら電車に乗っていましたが

とにかく思った事は

毎日通勤電車に乗ってる人は気づかないかも知れませんが

私のようにたまに電車に乗る人からすれば

随分人の外見が変わった

って事ですね。

そしてその変化は

私は好意的に捉えました。

日本全体が成熟してる

若い頃暴走族全盛時代に生きた私からすれば

良い国になった

そう思っています。

町田から都庁に着くまで

何人くらいの人を見たんでしょうかね？

数千人でしょうね。

そのほとんどが目立たない地味でラフな格好になった

これは私にとってはちょっとした驚きでした。

しかしこれだけ全体が目立たない服装になると

面白い事にそれま目だたなかった人が目立つようになりますね。

誰もスーツとネクタイをしなくなったって言いましたが

一人だけ見かけました

それは都庁に向かう地下通路の中で

大きなカバンを抱えながら

スーツとネクタイ姿でとことこ歩いてた５０歳過ぎの小柄な男性です。

まぁその人が何でそんな恰好をしてるのか？

実際には分かりませんが

想像はできますね。

多分その方は地方の公務員か議員さんですね。

用件は分かりませんが

都庁に申請か話し合いに行くのだと思います。

田舎ですから都会の変化は伝わらずに

相手に失礼の無い様に

暑い中スーツとネクタイで必死に歩いてる

そんな感じでしたね。

少し前まではそんな人はたくさんいましたから

目立つ事はありませんでしたが

いつの間にかそのいでたちが一番目立つ

そこまで世の中が変わった

って事です。

目立ちたがり屋さんはいつの時代もいますから

そんな人たちは頭に入れた方が良いですね。

流行をおっかけて奇抜な格好をしても

そんな人が増えればすぐに目立たなくなります。

本当に目立ちたいと思えば

このお父さんのように時代に遅れた方が

長く目立ちますよ

って

本当に恰好良い生き方をしたいのであれば

流行に流されない

これがよかろう

って私は思います。

それにしても

よれよれのスーツを着て

重い荷物を持って一生懸命歩いてたお父さん

恰好良かったですね。

参議院の選挙真っ最中ですが

候補者の皆さん

真似したらどうでしょうかね？

おしゃれな服装で

耳障りの良い言葉を一生懸命喚いても

もう私の歳になると聞き飽きましたからね。

黙って新宿の駅を重い鞄を持って意味なくウロウロ歩いた方が

もしかしたら票が入るかも知れませんよ。

保証はできませんが・・

 

 

 

The beginning of the month is a busy time as we have to send  a lot of money to owners who own the properties we manage.

I had to go to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government yesterday,

So I left early in the morning before the employees arrived at work.

That means it was just during rush hour.

It's been a while since I rode a crowded train.

It must be tough for commuters every day.

I don't know if this will put your mind at ease,

But compared to the past,

it's a lot easier for everyone.

When I say crowded trains,

they used to be really packed in,

and the conductors would push people from outside the doors to cram them in.

In a way, people were treated like objects.

Whether they were young women or whatever,

the station staff pushed all over their bodies.

If it happened today,

it might be considered sexual harassment.

Also, some of the carriages didn't have air conditioning,

so people had to endure the humid, hellish heat with just a fan.

Despite that,

the salarymen were wearing suits and ties,

so it must have been tough.

But now, people have become very casual.

Not only do they not wear suits, but they don't even own jackets.

No one wears a tie.

The necktie industry must be struggling.

Commuters' clothes have become casual,

but their hairstyles have also become really moderate.

Almost no men have dyed hair, and very few women. dyed

Almost no one has perms.

Is it okay? What about the beauty salon industry...

And most women wear pants now.

Is it to prevent molestation?

In the past,

there were a lot of women wearing miniskirts,

so I always wondered,

"Are they expecting to be molested?"

Well, there were probably a lot of cases where men misunderstood and started molesting women.

Fashion is led by young people,

and it's always been like that,

and now high school students are dressing more maturely.

I didn't see a single so-called Yankee type.

Speaking of which, the high school students who used to wear Yamanba makeup are now over 40, aren't they?

Does that mean the high school students now are daughters?

Maybe.

I wonder if pure children are born from Yamanba?

I wonder if mothers like that would show their children old photos.

I was thinking about this while riding the train,

and all I could think was

People who ride the train to work every day might not notice,

but for someone like me who rides the train occasionally,

people's appearances have changed a lot.

And I take this change in a positive way.

Japan as a whole has matured,

and as someone who lived in the heyday of bosozoku gangs when I was young,

I think it has become a better country.

I wonder how many people I saw on the way from Machida to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building?

It must have been several thousand.

Most of them were dressed in plain, casual clothes that didn't stand out, which was a bit of a surprise to me.

But when everyone is dressed in plain clothes like this,

it's interesting that people who didn't stand out before start to stand out.

I said that no one wears suits and ties anymore,

but I did see one person.

It was a small man in his 50s walking around in a suit and tie,

carrying a large bag, in the underground passage leading to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.

Well, why was he dressed like that?

I don't actually know, but I can imagine.

He was probably a local government official or politician.

I don't know what he was there for,

but I think he was going to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building to make an application or discuss something.

Because it's the countryside,

the changes in the Tokyo aren't obvious,

so he was walking around desperately in a suit and tie in the heat,

trying not to be rude to the other person.

Until recently,

there were a lot of people like that,

so they didn't stand out,

but before we knew it,

their outfits were the most noticeable,

and the world has changed to that extent.

There will always be people who want to stand out,

so it's best to keep them in mind.

Even if you dress eccentrically to follow the trends,

if there are more people like that, you won't stand out soon.

If you really want to stand out,

I think it's better to be behind the times like this guy

and stand out for a long time.

If you really want to live a cool life,

I think it's best not to be swayed by trends.

That said, this guy looked really cool walking around in a tattered suit and carrying a heavy suitcase.

 

The House of Councillors election is in full swing,

so why don't all the candidates try to imitate him?

At my age,

I'm tired of hearing people dress fashionably and shouting sweet-sounding words.

You might get more votes if you just meander aimlessly around Shinjuku Station with a heavy suitcase in silence.

 

I can't guarantee it, though...
