○日本の食文化を都道府県ごとの地図と特集ページで紹介する地図帳。

○監修…岸朝子。編集協力…小林しのぶ，津田令子，中尾隆之。

○都道府県ごとの地図では，地元の味（郷土料理，特産品，食材など）を写真とイラスト付きワンポイント解説で紹介。

○巻頭特集では，4人の食と旅の専門家がテーマ別に日本の食を紹介（「岸朝子さんと日本の食文化を訪ねる」「中尾隆之のスイーツへの誘い」「小林しのぶ 旅弁大集合」「津田令子の軽井沢日帰りの旅」全6テーマ）。

○巻末の資料編では，料理と食材をテーマに食文化の違いや地方限定商品を地図とワンポイント解説で紹介（鮨，ごはん，汁もの，鍋もの，醤油・味噌，塩・砂糖，酒，米，野菜，魚介類，肉類，大学産品，四季の行事と食，全14テーマ）。

【読んだ理由】
地図が好きだから。

【コメント】
確か小学校、中学校と地図帳は帝国書院のものだった。
県別に地図とその県のうまいものが紹介されている。
ちなみに岡山県は、黒豆、海苔、蒜山大根、白桃、朝日米、鯖鮨、きびだんご、ばら寿司、ままかりの酢漬けが紹介されている。

【原文】
子曰、君子喩於義、小人喩於利、





【読み下し】
子の曰わく、君子は義に喩（さと）り、小人は利に喩る。

【通釈】
先生がいわれた、「君子は正義に明るく、小人は利益に明るい。」

【English】
The Master said, "The mind of the superior man is conversant with righteousness; the mind of the mean man is conversant with gain."

『論語』とは、読んで字の如く「論じ語る」、孔子と弟子達や要人達との間に交された対話録。
『論語』は私たちの生き方の原点を見つめた思索の宝庫であり、人間性を磨く叡智が凝縮した永遠の古典。
読めば読むほど胸に深く沁み込む簡潔な言葉の数々。
『孟子』『大学』『中庸』と併せて儒教における「四書」の一つに数えられる。
全20編（学而第一～堯曰第二十） 構成され、編の名称は各編の最初の二文字を採ったものであり内容上の意味はない。
したがって、学而第一から順に読む必要はなくどこから読んでもかまわない。

52：石部（目川の里）
　街道は平坦な路が続く。水口から石部宿まで9.3里。この間に広重の描いた「目川里」がある。ここは菜飯と田楽が有名で、その店「伊勢屋」を描いたのが、この絵である。春の景色らしく、遠く見える山、三上山も春霞の彼方に薄鼠に眠っているように、おだやかである。海道には伊勢参りの連中のさんざめきが賑やかである。この一群の人物の描写が実に巧みで、名物店の前の旅情を表現して遺憾がない。旅人達には一切構わずに行く、二人の荷を背負った農夫の姿が、また得もいわれない村落の情趣となっている。
　石部の宿は、画題にも乏しかったので、広重は、この目川の里を描いたのであろうが、石部で思い出されるのは、浄瑠璃や歌舞伎でも知られた「お半長右衛門」の心中話である。二人の馴れ初めはこの石部の宿であったし、「伊勢まいり石部で堅い仲となり」の川柳もある。それを考えてか、広重は「隷書東海道」で旅篭屋の図を描いて、保永堂版の「赤坂」とはまら別な味わいを見せている。また石部には道中薬として和中散を売る是斎という店があった。

絵の出典：食るり愉るり知多半島

※歌川 広重（うたがわ ひろしげ、寛政9年（1797年） - 安政5年9月6日（1858年10月12日）
浮世絵師。江戸の町火消しの安藤家に生まれ家督を継ぎ、その後に浮世絵師となったが 現代広く呼ばれる安藤広重（あんどう ひろしげ）なる名前は使用しておらず、浮世絵師としては歌川広重が正しいと言える。
天保3年（1832年）秋、広重は幕府の行列（御馬進献の使）に加わって上洛（京都まで東海道往復の旅）する機会を得たとされる。天保4年（1833年）には傑作といわれる『東海道五十三次絵』が生まれた。この作品は遠近法が用いられ、風や雨を感じさせる立体的な描写など、絵そのものの良さに加えて、当時の人々があこがれた外の世界を垣間見る手段としても、大変好評を博した。
なお、つてを頼って幕府の行列に加えてもらったとの伝承が伝わるが、実際には旅行をしていないのではないかという説もある[2]。 また、司馬江漢の洋画を換骨奪胎して制作したという説もある。
