一か月目にやってきた宝物

昨日、不意を突くように
ハープがやってきました。
Yesterday, surprisingly a harp came to me.

ここに来てちょうどひと月。
生活全てが変わり、新しい職場に来たみたいでした。
I arrived here only one month ago.
All my life has changed and I felt like I came to a new workspace.

例えば、食器洗浄機、洗濯機の使い方を覚えるのさえ、私には難しいんです。
買い物はできても、
「1krone＝16円だから…えーと…」
スーパーの中で、いつも固まってます…😖
「1Kgいくら」という表示にも未だ慣れません。
For example, it was difficult for me to remember how to use even the dishwasher and the washing machine.
I can go shopping
but I'm always standing still for a moment at the supermarket.
”1 krone ＝ 16 yen so ... uh...."
And I have not got accustomed to goods being priced by weight.

だからと言って、毎日弾いていたハープのことを忘れていたわけではないのですが…
Not that I forgot about a harp that I used to play every day,
but...

昨日の朝のこと。
私の相方が、ニッコリ手に大きな袋を持って立っている。
？？？

蓋を開けると…

Yesterday morning
my partner was smiling and standing with a big bag.
???
He opened and then ...

ハープ… えっ？ ハープ…？
えーーー‼️
It's a harp...? well? harp ?
wowoooo----!!!!




トロムソにはハープを扱っているお店がないのですが、
彼は乾燥するトロムソの風土に合うものを見つけてくれたんです。😭
これは、アメリカ生まれで、ロンドンから来ました。
共鳴部がフィンランドの樺の木でできているんですって。

There are very few shops that can ship harps in Tromso.
But he has found a harp that matches the dry climate of Tromso.
This came from London, made in America.
The body and soundboard are made from Finnish birch wood.

「Natur（ナトゥール）」と名づけました。
意味は「自然」
It was named "Natur".
That means 'nature'.

やっぱり、ハープは私の大事なパートナー。
The harp is still my important partner!

ますます素敵なときが訪れることでしょう。
I feel the future will be even nicer.

旅行者の目を生かそう！

彼女たちは、無事発ったかなあ？
外を見ると虹！
I wonder how they are doing in the flight?
It's a rainbow when I look outside.

ショッピングセンターの中のお店で
紫陽花を作るノリを手に取った時、
なんか視線を感じて振り向くと…
When I got in my hand glue for my Ajisai at the book and paper shop in the shopping center,
I felt someone's eye and I looked around...

「日本人ですか？」
"Are you Japanese?"

それが、彼女との出会いでした。
It was when I first met her.

ご主人が学会に出席している間、トロムソを観光するのだそうです。
今日が初日で一番にここに来た、とのこと。
一番にこんなとこ来ないよな、普通😆
何だか足が向いたんですって。
こういう感覚大事なんでしょうね。

While her husband is attending a seminar,
she will do some sightseeing in Tromso.
Travellers would not usually go to this place first, would they?
She says her feet moved her here automatically.
I think such a feeling may be very important.

彼女を観光案内所にお連れして
私も一緒に色々教えてもらいました。
その後、ゆっくりお茶して、
翌日、二人で科学館のプラネタリュウムのオーロラを見に行くことになりました。

I brought her to the tourist office and I got some new information for me too.
We relaxed by talking in a cafeteria after that
and we decided to go watching the aurora movie in the planetarium at the science center the next day.

島を一周するようなコースの路線バスで景色を楽しみながら
終点のトロムソ大学へ。
その一角にある 科学センターに来るのは、私も初めて。

We enjoyed the sightseeing from the public bus that goes along the seaside of Tromso island
and arrived at the end station, Tromso University.
It was also my first visit to the science center, located at the corner of the university.



ところが、オーロラの上映時間は15：15からで、
まだ4時間もある…！
But the aurora movie would start from 15:15 and that's 4 hours later!

他にも自然のことから、環境、宇宙、気象、人体など、子どもから大人まで楽しめるというので、行ってみました。
どれもこれも5感で体験できるように工夫されていているんです。
小学生がいたので、さらに楽しめました！
やっぱ子どもは面白いし、笑える！
They have another section and both children and adults can enjoy nature, the environment, the universe, weather, the human body and so on and we tried it.
It was designed very well so that we could experience everything through the five senses.
And there were elementary school children and I could enjoy it even more!
Children are still interesting and make me smile!








私たちは一旦街に戻り、それぞれ昼食を済ませて、
バス停で待ち合わせて再入館。( 早い！）
無事オーロラの映画も満喫して、帰ってきました。
We returned to the town once and met after lunch at the bus stop as a rendezvous and entered the science center again. (We were so fast!)
We enjoyed the aurora movie and went home.

私は彼女から学ぶことがたくさんあり、
閃くように思いました。
旅行者としての視点を生かそう！

I learned a lot from her
and that gave me ideas:
I will make use of my viewpoint as a tourist!

「今度は冬に来たいね、と夫と話しています」
という彼女。
今度はもっと案内できるようになっておきますね～！
She wrote to me "We'd like to visit Tromso in winter next time"
I'll be a good guide for your next visit!

雨には、やっぱり紫陽花でしょう。

日本では、梅雨真っただ中なんですよね。
こちらも まるで梅雨のように1週間ほど雨が降っています。
（ただ、先日は6度だったりで、寒い！)
It's the middle of the rainy season in Japan, isn't it?
Here it has been raining for about 1 week like as in a Japanese rainy season
(But it has been 6 ℃ some days, it's very cold!)

日本の梅雨の最中、
私の心和ませくれていたのが、紫陽花。
日本を発つ朝、畑でも見てきました。
3年前に挿し木をしたのが、この春やっと蕾をつけたんです。
咲いたかな～？

In the rainy season in Japan
Ajisai used to make me happy and relaxed.
In the morning just before I left Japan, I went to my farm and saw Ajisai.
The Ajisai cutting that I planted three years ago had some buds this spring, at last.
I wonder if it bloomed?



トロムソの花屋さんでも紫陽花の鉢をたくさん見かけます。
紫陽花は、ノルウェー語で”Hortensia”.
でも、雨の中咲いているのを見ないんだなあ。
雨の中でこそ、色鮮やかで美しいと思うんだけどなあ。
I saw a lot of pots of Hydrangea in some flower shops in Tromso.
They call it "Hortensia" in Norwegian.
But I have never seen it outside in rain.
I think it will be beautiful and the colors will be clear in rain.

日本の地植えの大きな紫陽花、懐かしい～！
ふと思いついて、
慣れない折り紙で作ってみました。

I remember the big Ajisai (Hydrangea) growing on the ground！
An idea popped into my mind
and I tried to make Ajisai with Origami that I'm not accustomed to.

折り紙の色鮮やさが、部屋に馴染んでいるようで
満足してます😊
I am satisfied that the vivid color of Origami seems to match this room.

いよいよ仕上げだわ、という日
雨の街で見つけました。
そうよ、やっぱり雨と似合うわ。
紫陽花。
On the day when it was likely I would finish my Ajisai.
I saw it in the rainy town.
Yes, it still matches rain,
It's Ajisai.

トナカイだー！

えー！
うっそー！
トナカイ？？？

たまたまカメラを手にしていたので、撮れました。
いるんですねえ。
買い物から帰る途中すぐ横の草原を歩いてたんですよ。
びっくりです。

ちなみにトナカイは、
英語でreindeer.
ノルウェー語では、rein
じゃあ、トナカイは？

アイヌ語だそうです。
灯台下暗しでした😅

it's a reindeer???

I had my camera by chance so I could take some pictures of it.
It is really near us, isn't it?
On the way from shopping I found it walking on the grass by the road.
I was surprised!

“Tonakai” is reindeer in English.
It's rein in Norwegian.
Then..what language is “Tonakai” ?

I heard that Japanese “Tonakai” is actually from Ainu.

ブログも英語と日本語で！

ノルウェーって何語？

ノルウェー語です。
でも、ほとんどの人が英語も話すんです。

皆さん、私のことを英語ペラペラ！
なんて、思っているでしょうね、きっと。
でも、それ大きな勘違いです！

こうして異国に来ますと…思いますわ。

日本語、忘れたくない。
(いやいや、磨きたいくらい！)
そして、英語も上達したい。

そこで、今朝思いつきました！

こちらで色々な人と話す。
その他に…

ブログ、フェイスブックを
英語と日本語で書く。

私には、むっちゃハードル高いんですけど…

ボチボチやってみようと思います。

What language do Norwegians speak ?

It's Norwegian.
But most people can speak English.
You think I can speak English very well?
It's a big mistake!

I'm not good at English.

Now I think
I don't want to forget Japanese
And I want to improve my English and even Japanese!

So I had a good idea this morning!

I'll talk with many people.
And
I'll write my blog and Facebook in English too.
It's my big challenge!
I'll do it slowly.

I'm so happy if you can learn and enjoy together with me.

ノルウェーは既に白夜でした！

教室を閉じた私の大きな理由は、
ノルウェーに来るためでした。

大事にしたい人と過ごす。
ただただ一人の女性として、
この人生で後悔しないように。

私を待ってくれている人の住む街に
ついにやって来ました。

と言っても3回目ですが…(^ ^)

初めてきたときは

えらい所に来てしまった…！
と思わせたのがこの光景。
その時はもっと雪が積もっていましたが…

これが、フィヨルドというもの。

私が向かうトロムセは…?

見えてきました‼️



左手に見える島。
あれが、トロムセです。

どうやら、雪はなさそう。
とホッとしつつも、
やっぱりドキドキしてきます。

迎えてくれる人いるって
ほんと幸せです。

それにしても
着いたのが、夜の8時30分。
異常に明るい。

えっ？ひょっとして白夜？

「そう昨日からね」

えーっ！！

雪と白夜

繋がってなかったんですねー！

仕事もない。
ハープもない。
ノルウェー語はもちろん
英語もろくに話せない。

こんな私が、ここでどんなことをしていくのか？
どんことに感動し、
どんなことをしたくなるのか？

自分でも全く想像もつかず
自分で自分のことを楽しみにしているんです。

こんな体験をさせてもらえることに感謝です。

それにしても
これが、18日夜の10時30分
白夜の序ノ口です。

天空が光の舞台に！

「オーロラだ！」

友人の声に家のベランダに飛び出したとき
私の目に映ったのは、
薄い帯状の雲のようなものでした。

「動かないで、見てるんだよ！」

そう言われて、私はじっと見ていました。

うーん、よく見ると
「確かに動いている・・」

その間に形を変える。

「うわっ、こりゃほんとにオーロラやわ！」

これを振るんだ！
と手渡されたのは、白いハンカチ。

両手に持って、振る振る振る！

すると、
オーロラがくっきりとしてくるのです。

「えー！！？？」

とまた私は、ハンカチを振る振る振る！（^_^;）

うわー、うわーと叫んでいる間に
どんどん形が変わっていく！

揺らめきながら踊り続けるカーテン。

と思いきや

いつの間にか頭上から降り注いでいるではないか！

３６０度天空をうごめいているのです。

自分のカメラを向けていたのですが、
私のちゃっちいカメラに収まるものではなく、
カメラを覗いているのがアホらしくなってきて、
自分の目に焼つけることにしました。

翌日新聞に載りましたから、
結構壮大で美しい方だったのかもしれませんね。

 天を仰ぐこと、1時間半。

すっかり我を忘れていました。
