Hachigata Castle trip in Saitama pref.

I would like to inform Hachigata Castle trip in Saitama pref.


I ride a JR Hachikou Line to Ogawa town, change Tobu train to Yorii station.
Bus service is less, I ride a taxi to History museum of Hachigata Castle.
This museum shows Castle history, castle houses, earthworks.


This castle was built by Hojo clan.

I understand this castle history.
Then I go to Outer Kuruwa.


Next is Dengoten Kuruwa.

I arrive at Shiroyama Inari Torii.

Next is Second Kuruwa.


Shiroyama Inari shrine is seen.

I arrive at shrine park.

Many earthworks are seen.


There is small house for Samurai.

Castle gate is rebuilt.

Next is Suwa Shrine.


I go to north, turn left, arrive at Honmaru ruine.

This castle is surrounded by Arakawa River.


I see Castle model.

I eat Soba noodle.
I rest at this restaurant.

This day, this area holds Festibal.
I see a Mikoshi.




Hachigata Castle is keeping an old castle ruin．
Taffic is not convenient, but we can walk this castle gate.
Please visit Hachigata Castle.
