Trip by Yoro railroad

I would like to inform the Yoro railroad trip.
I inform Yoro railroad, between Kuwana and Ibi 57.5 km. I travel along this railroad line.
First,to go to Kuwana by JR or Kintets, I start this trip riding Yoro railroad.
I buy Holiday free ticket, only 1000 yen.
It goes to Tado first and visits Tado shrine.

A bicycle is borrowed from Tado Station for 100 yen per day.
When it goes about 3 km along the Tado river toward the west from a station, it is arrival in Tado shrine.
The slope of a raising horse divine work is located immediately on the left-hand side of the entrance in Tado shrine.
A raising horse divine work will be held on May 4 and the 5th every year.
Except that day, you can see facing the steep incline in which it has been galloped by the horse.
Going up of the last is a slope where it is sudden and man is also difficult.
I think the horse is pitiful.
When the stairs in the inner part of an entrance are gone up along the brook, it is arrival in a shrine.

When you turn round, you can see the good scene of Tado town. The wish was written to the card and I prayed.
Taking a walk the temple town in front of Tado shrine, I return to Tad station by bicycle.

A bicycle is placed here and a mountain is climbed to the waterfall of Yoro.
If a mountain is climbed about 40 minutes, a beautiful waterfall is visible at hand.
The surroundings of a waterfall are cool on the body.

This waterfall is famous for the old tale that the water of the waterfall changed to alcohol.
This waterfall is 30m height,4m width, beautiful waterfall which hid the tradition of the son faithful to the father.

A luncheon is eaten in Ogaki. After 15minutes walk, you can arrive the Ogaki castle.
The admission fee of 100 yen is paid and it goes into a castle tower.
The Ogaki castle is a castle used as the headquarters of a west army of Samurai Mitsunari Ishida in the Battle of Sekigahara.
I imagined old battle, seeing videos, such as the Battle of Sekigahara.
It returns to a station and goes to terminal point Ibi.

The grand flow of Ibi river is seen at Ibi Station.
It returns to Ibi Station and gets off in East Akasaka.
If it goes west from East Akasaka Station, it will go to Sakasegawa's riverbank.
It is famous for a cherry tree in April. And the river which a firefly can see in June in spring.
Then, it returns to Ogaki Station and returns from JR Ogaki Station to Nagoya by train.

Yoro railroad train is available for riding bicycle. I recommend the bicycle trip by Yoro train. You can enjoy same as European bicycle

New power spot, Shisen-en, in Kyoto

Shinsen-en which is a power spot in Kyoto


In Shinsen-en, the Heian period was located next to Heiankyo southeast.
Now, Shinsen-en is located in south area from Nijo Castle.
Shinsen-en is the park which has eight towns scale, and has a famous pond, where is considered as a secret pond.
Shinsen-en has a Hosei pond.
There is a Hosei bridge over this pond.

This bridge is a power spot.
When you walk over the bridge with only one wish,and throw coin for your wish to small shrine at end of this bridge.
Then your wish will be fulfilled.


At Kamakura period, Mr.Yoshitsune
visited this bridge,with one wish to get a victory for the battle to Heike.
He fullfiled the wish. This is the beginning of power spot in Kyoto.
This pond also has a legend with the place where Shizuka Gozen became acquainted with Yoshitsune.

I also put one wish and went across this bridge.
Is my wish fulfilled sure enough?
I recommend you to visit this Hosei bridge by JR.
JR Nijo station is west of this bridge, about 10 minutes walk.

Kiso river cherry blossoms

Visiting the cherry blossoms along Kiso river(木曽川) in Nagano prefecture.

Naraijuku(奈良井宿)-Kisofukushima(木曽福島)-Kuramoto(倉本)-Ochiaigawa(落合川)

I would like to inform a cherry tree blooming situation along Kiso river.

I visit these places by JR Chuo Line railway April 14.

Naraijuku(奈良井宿)
Unfortunately, there are only several cherry trees in the Naraijuku.
There is almost no progress of cherry blossom from last weekend．
Because around Naraijuku area was low temperature last week.

Kisofukushima(木曽福島)
Cherry tree ls 20% bloom.
Hanging down cherry tree of Kouzen Temple(興禅寺) is 20% bloom.
Sekiyama(関山) park cherry is not opening yet.

Kuramoto(倉本)
Around station cherry is full bloom, and near railway's cherry is also full bloom. Kiso river's bank cherry is 80% bloom.



Ochiai river(落合川)
Cherry blossom is finished, currently cherry tree has some leaves.
Because April 8 was full bloom.

The starting of cherry bloom along Kiso river is earlier than the usual year.
However, the temperature of Kiso river is low early of April, full bloom in north area of Kiso is late.
There are many places in full bloom among Nagano area now, but along Kiso river's cherry is late for one week from Nagano area.
Kisofukushima's cherry will be full boom on April 20.

By Nagoya starting point's one day trip, we can see full boom of Somei Yoshino cherry tree about 3weeks, from west end Himeji to east end Nagano, this year.

Hamburg:
Hamburg is the town which prospered in the harbor in the 2nd city of Germany.
Let's take a picture for he beautiful central station building.
Hamburg is the birthplace of the hamburger, you should eat a hamburger instantly.
The Hamburger is the oval figure, German bread sand a meat or a fish, it is a light taste.
Not only meat but a fish, a shrimp, etc. can be chosen.
The Hamburg town walking needs about 1 hour.

Lubeck:
From Hamburg to Lubeck needs about one hour trip by train.
About 10 minutes walk from Lubeck Station, you arrive the old city place surrounded by a rampart and river.
Entrance of this old town is the gate of a big tower.This gate was closed for protecting an enemy at medieval times.
The old city is the leader of Hanseatic League at medieval times. Please walk slowly, you can feel a calm feeling.
Lubeck cuisine is same taste as the Italy taste.
A hotel also has a beautiful Gothic shape, and it stays overnight here.
Next morning I starts at 7:30 in the morning, and go to Copenhagen by ICE.

Copenhagen:
Starting from Lubeck after a while, a train goes slow and goes to the seashore.
Many passenger look outside, the train is going into a ship.
The train is carried so that a car may be put on a ferry.
After fixation on the ship of a train is completed, you can get off a train and moves to a ship.
In order to put a train, the ship is about 2-times bigger than usual Japanese ferry.
You can travel the Baltic Sea by ship.
If it rides about 90 minutes, ship arrive at the island in Denmark and the train goes to Copenhagen.

If it arrives in Copenhagen, a mermaid's statue should be seen. Recommend Nyhavn harbor.
The port town in Nyhavn is a beautiful town.
Nyhavn is meaning as the "New harbor" and it was built by the king in the 1670s.
There is a waterway used as a wharf, the sailboat and the tourist ship are at anchor,
there is a colorful building of its Hanseatic League days, and the scene often seen in a calendar.
Please come to visit an amusement park Tivoli park, is located near the station.

Odense:
Next, it goes to Odense.
The train goes to a big iron bridge over the sea,which continues about 3 km, you are surprised at the size of the scale.
A velotaxi is taken at a station, and Anderson's house can be seen in the place where Anderson was born.

The house is small, having only two rooms.
The Anderson museum is also near this house.
Odense having lots of flower park, walking around flower parks is recommended.

Flensburg:
In order to return to Germany, it goes to Flensburg from the Jutland Peninsula.
Flensburg is a small town which touches Denmark and the border, there are a lot of medieval buildings.
This town is surrounded by the sea and the mountain.
A night view is the best view, the buildings are lighting up, you can feel a good impression.
The 2nd night is carried out here.

In the next morning, I go around the town,climbing hill and see good landscape.
EU normal train is usually able to carry out a bicycle in the train. EU traveler often goes a trip by bicycle, it is convenient for them.
Arriving to Hamburg in the evening, the trip for two nights and these three days is completion.

Takeda Castle travel by JR Bantan line

This time, I inform Takeda Castle travel by JR Bantan line using Seishun 18 ticket.
TTakeda Castle is the castle of the sky, or looks like Machu Picchu in Peru.
Start from Nagoya at 8:32, ride New Rapid train to Maibara.
Change train to go to Himeji, and ride Bantan line train, then arrive Takeda at 13:43.
In front of Takeda Station, take a lunch. Start to climb Mt. at 14:00.

I climb the Station backword roote, this roote is steep, so trekking shoes and a sneaker are required.
This roote distance is about 800m, but slope is sudden and difficult.
I take a short break, 25 minutes is necessary.


Ruins of a castle enter from the front gate, and have Sannomaru, a secondary enclosure, a castle tower, a main enclosure, a flower garden, etc.

The size is 400 m of north and south, and 100 m of east and west.
Site seeing time on this castle needs one hour.
Including climbing time,total time needs 2 hours.
JR Bantan line's train is old, and not comfort.
Takeda castle is near the station,　we can travel by one day.
