I would like to inform Chino city Jomon trip.
Chino city has Yatsugadake, Lake Shirakaba, Tateshina plateau etc.
Chino city is east side of Suwa city.
I get off at JR Chino station, ride a bus about 20minutes, then arrive at Togariishi remains.
Togariishi Jomon Historical museum charge is 500yen.
Chino city had prospered at Jomon period, about 5000years ago.
At entrance, there are Jomon Venus and Maked Goddess, National treasure.
There are many Clay figures in Chino city.
But many clay figures were broken, big figures were not broken.
Jomon Venus and Maked Goddess are Symbol of the village.
I enter exhibition room A.
This room shows Togariishi remains excavation history.
Exhibition room B shows Jomon Venus and Maked Goddess.
Maked Goddess was made 4000years ago.
It is 34cm height, hollow structure.
This figurine was excavated in the lying state.
Next is Jomon Venus.
This figure is 27cm height, was made 5000 years ago
This figurine is heavy in the solid.
This figurine is to express the pregnant woman.
Next is Exhibition room C.
This room shows many Clay figures, Earthenware.
Exhibition room D shows Jomon people clothes, and people life.
End of exhibition room D, Experience learning corner.
Making a Clay figure, and Earthenware.
This is the end of this historical museum.
Next is Jomon house.
Near this museum, big park has 6 Jomon houses.
This house structure is same as Toro remains house.
I cross the road, go to Togri remains.
This remains has some stone circles for Jomon houses.
I walk this park, then arrive at Togariishi.
This stone is called the god's stone.
I return to Chino station, enter Chino citizen hall.
This hall is built at 2005.
It has concert hall, Gallery, Library.
This hall is covered many glasses, artistic and modern building.
In this hall, there are many chairs, some books of library.
Current Chino city appeals Jomon village.
