Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology
I would like to inform Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology near Nagoya.

From JR Nagoya station, I buy Subway & Bus free ticket for Saturday and Sunday, 600yen. I go to Kamejima station, that is a first station from Nagoya.
Walking 5minutes to East, I arrive at Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology.


First visit is Toyoa groupe house.

Then I enter Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology.
This is built by using Toyota Textile factory.


Entrance charge is \500, when showing a Subway & Bus free ticket it is \400.

Big entrance room is seen.
I go to Textile Machinelly Pavilion.


This pavilion has many textile machines.



Next is Metal processing technology.

Go forward, I enter Automobile Pavilion.


First is metal testing room, then Making Proto-Type Factory.

Engine prototype area, some figures show a how to make engine parts.
Starting to produce Automobile at Toyota, company members make a lots of efforts for developing car parts.

Next room shows how to make a proto type car.
Worker make a outer panel by hande made.


Go to 2nd floor.
Truck G1, passenger car A1 are seen.

Toyota company name was changed.
First is Toyoda, but it is changed to Toyota.
Why company name is changed.
3Reasons:
Toyota is easy to call.
It is not good that Company name is same as Founder name.
Toyota name is inviting a good luck.

Next is Car structure and Components system.
There are many cars that show car structures, and components that show systems.

When you push the button, you can see a moving model.
Visiters are able to understand to study the car basic structure and system.


From 2nd floor, you can see a wide view of automobile displays.


Go down to 1F.
Passenger car AA and it's assembling line are seen.

Next to AA, truck GA and other Toyota famous cars are set.

Go forward, Engine producing methods are displayed by worker's figures.

Next is current car producing machines.
Press, weldimg, painting, assembling machines.



Next to Automobile pavilion, Imaginating house is existing.


This house has many Imaginating models for children.

I return to Automobile Pavilion, experiensing corner for chilren.
This corner is an assembling a car designed strup for chilren.

Get out Automobile Pavilions, there is a praying violin robot.
Many visitors are gatherd this robot.

This museum has also library and Technoland, that are no charge.


After seeing this museum, riding a Nagoya Meguru bus. It is convenient for going to Nagoya Castle.


This museum has many foreign visitors.
Please visit this museum.

Ezaki Memorial Museum in Osaka

I would like to inform Glico company Ezaki Memorial Museum.
This museum exsists near JR Tsukato station.
I get off at Tsukamoto station, walk northeast about 15 minutes, arrive at this museum.



I enter from Head Office, about 50m distance, this museum is existing.
This museum is second floor building.


Museum is only second floor, first floor is an assembly hall.
No charge for entering.


Founder is Toshiichi Ezaki, he was born at Saga prefecture at 1882, he died at 97 ly ears old.
At 1921, he found Glycogen at oyster.
He use Glycogen to caramel 'Glico'.
This caramel is hit product.
This museum shows founders history, company's history, hit products, famos advertising, and bonus.

I climb second floor, big runner goaling statue is seen.

First I see the founder's video for 12 minutes.
Next is company's history, and company's trademark history.

Current trademark is 7th mark.
Neon at Shinsaibashi is changed to 6th generation from last October.


But 6th Neon is not shown in this museum.
Next is factory history.
Horie factory, Toyosaki factory's models are seen.

Next is delivering car.

Next is founder making caramel photo.

Vending machine with movie is seen.

10 sen coin is necessary for this machine.
When enter 10sen coin to this machine, machine shows movie for 2 minutes.
Glico caramel is dropped in bottom, and change is returned.
This is a pioneer of vending machine at 1933.

Next is famouse TV-CM.

Momoe Yamaguchi, Seiko Matsuda, Yoko Minamino, Manami Honjyo are seen.

Turn next corner, Founders room is seen.
This room has many goods of founder's.

Final is Glico bonus.
Lots of bonus are seen.

Museum floor is not large, field trip needs 1 or 1.5 hours.

Finishing this field trip, I receive Glico with bonus.


Memorial goods are selling.
I buy the runner with bonus at 500yen.
