I would like to inform Shiratama hoshikusa blossom in full bloom at Odaka green space in Midori-ku Nagoya-city.
Shiratama hoshikusa is a Japanese endemic species and is a plant growing on the limited damp ground of the Tokai district.
This blossom is 1cm diameter and see a short hair of the white like a white ball.
Shiratama hoshikusa‘s name is based on the many flower view seemed to firefly dancing.
The height improves to around 20-40cm and is from the end of August to October in flowering season.
All over September is in full blossom．
I arrive at "Narumi Station" in Meitetsu Nagoya Railroad from Nagoya Station for approximately ten minutes.
From Narumi Station,by taxi in five minutes I enter Odaka green space and go and get off at Hanakien the taxi.
The south side is Shiratama hoshikusa area.
It is surrounded with a fence and a rope, but can observe the thing nearly the rope slowly and carefully.
The flower is like the leek Buddhist priest, but it is collected in a ball with one color of white and is beautiful.
After observing Shiratama hoshikusa blossom,I recommend to walk through the garden of the Odaka green space.
And finally go to Biwaga- pond at the north end.
Go to Sakyoyama Station of Meitetsu on foot from here for approximately ten minutes and can come back at riding normal train to Nagoya from here.
