16：東海道五拾三次之内　蒲原　夜之雪【広重「雪の絵」 全20点】

都会の風景であっても、それがゆたかな自然事象のなかに渾然と含みこまれ、いつも清澄の風情がくみとれる広重の風景版画。「東都名所」「名所江戸百景」「本所名所」など、当時出版されたシリーズを解体し、月・雪・花と雨にテーマを分類して再編成。それを現代の彫師・摺師による復刻版画として再現しています。

歌川 広重（うたがわ ひろしげ、寛政9年（1797年） - 安政5年9月6日（1858年10月12日）は、浮世絵師。本名安藤鉄蔵。
江戸の定火消しの安藤家に生まれ家督を継ぎ、その後に浮世絵師となった。
かつては安藤広重（あんどう ひろしげ）とも呼ばれたが、安藤は本姓、広重は号であり、両者を組み合わせて呼ぶのは不適切で、広重自身もそう名乗ったことはない。
また、ゴッホやモネなどの画家に影響を与え、世界的に著名な画家である。

【印象に残った一行】
「而今（じこん）」
過ぎ去った過去は戻ってはきません。また、いくら未来のことを考えても、それは頭で考えてことに過ぎない。過去や未来にとらわれず、「今」というこの瞬間を大切に生きることです。

「冷暖自治知（れいだんじち）」
水の冷たさも温かさも、自分自身で経験しなければわかりません。人生は何事においても経験することが大切です。行動を起こさずして頭だけで考えていても、前には進めないということです。

「お陰さま」の「陰」とはご先祖様のこと。
青の大きな「陰」のごとき存在であるご先祖様に、常に感謝の気持ちをもつこと。それが日本人として延々と受け継いできた心なのです。

VANDALS DAMAGE ANNE FRANK DIARIES 「“アンネの日記” 被害相次ぐ」

Vandals have damaged copies of Anne Frank's famous wartime diary and related books at dozens of libraries in Tokyo.
They tore pages from more than 280 copies of the Japanese edition of Anne Frank's "The Diary of a Young Girl" and her biography. Police have started an investigation.
Anne Frank was born in Germany in 1929. Her family was Jewish and faced persecution by the Nazi government. The family moved to Amsterdam, but Germany occupied the Netherlands in 1940. The family went into hiding in an attic two years later. Anne wrote her diary there. The family was betrayed and transported to extermination camps. Anne died of disease at age 15.
A Japanese expert on the German genocide of the Jews says the vandalism is shameful.

【書き下し文】
子の曰わく、与（とも）に学ぶべし、未だ与に道に適（ゆ）くべからず。与に道に適くべし、未だ与に立つべからず。与に立つべし、未だ与に権（はか）るべからず。

【通釈】
孔子がおっしゃいました、
「共に学ぶ友人と同じ目標を共有できるとは限らない。同じ目標を持つ友人と同じ価値観を共有できるとは限らない。同じ価値観を持つ友人と同じ志を抱いて共に人生を歩めるとは限らない」

【English】
Confucius said,"A fellow student does not always have the same aspiration as yours. A friend who has the same aspiration does not always have the same values as yours. A friend who has the same values does not always cast in his lot with you."
