BOY PRINTS FACE SHIELDS FOR MEXICO MEDICS１２歳の少年が医療用シールドを提供

Healthcare workers battling the coronavirus in Mexico are getting a helping hand from a local 12-year-old boy.
Jorge Martinez from the city of Oaxaca has been turning out face shields with a 3D printer.
Martinez made more than a hundred shields and donated them to local hospitals.
He says he came up with the idea after learning that protective gear is in short supply.

"Doctors need to cover their faces because the new virus spreads through the eyes, nose, and mouth. And a simple face mask for them doesn't have that much."
Mexican health officials say the country has had more than 5,300 confirmed cases and 406 fatalities as of Tuesday.
The World Health Organization says more than 20,000 healthcare professionals had been infected with the virus by April 8.
