I would lIke to inform Ena city walking trip in Gifu.
I get off at Ena station, go south 500m, I arrive at Ooijuku.
Ooijuku is a Nakasendo main town for staying at Edo period.

Nakasendo road is spred to east-west.
I go to east.
Soon Ooijuku bridge is seen.
This bridge is decorated with many pictures of Hiroshige-Ando.
From this bridge old houses of Shukuba town at Edo period.
About 5 minutes walking, I arrive at Machikado Museum.

This museum is no charge.
It has many pictures of Hiroshige-Ando, and lots of pictures of junior highschool students at Ena.
This house was a hotel at Edo period, Meiji emperor stayed at this house.
This house keeps the Meiji emperor stayed room.
That room has a Tokonoma, emperos chair.
I'm satisfied with this museum.
I go to Hishiya museum.

Abou 3 minutes walking to east.
Charge is 300yen.

This house was Shouya, that is a big commercial shop at Edo periodic.
This museum has many dolls, Samurai's Yoroi, goods of Edo period.
Officer explains this museum in detail.
Next is Ooijmura Shoya house's gate.

I turn to left at this gate, go forward, then arrive at Jyobutsu stone Budda statues.
These stone statues are protecting this village.
Stone statues are staying obscurely.

From these statues, sloping road are starting.
Soon Sugawara shrine is seen.

From this shrine, wonderful view of Ena city.
I return to Ooijmura Shoya house's gate, I go to Spring of Kazunomiya.

This spring is famouse from Princess Kazunomiya drinking this water.
Current this spring does not have many water.
I return to west, arrive at Huruie house, that is also Shoya house.

Not opening for persons are living at this house.
I return to Ooijuku bridge, arrive at Ship harbor.

Many ships were staying at this harbor at Edo periodic.
Finaly I see the Shinanoya hotel.
