I inform Castles travel of of "Nishio castle", "Tojo castle" and "Terabe castle" at Mikawa bay area in Aichi-prefecture.
I go by car because a castles is faraway from train.
First I go to Nishi Castle.
Nishi castle is in "Nishio-city historical park", about 2 km far from Nagoya Railroad Nishio station.
Yoshiuji-Ashikaga of Mikawa defence built Saijo castle at 1225, and "Saijo Kira" was the lord of castle Castle.
There are "Honmaru Ushitora turret" and "Chuu Jyaku Gate" etc. in Nishio ruin of a castle.
First I go to Honmaru Ushitora turret. This turret is woden three beds house of about 10 meters of height, and the entrance fee is free. It's possible to see the center of Nishio-city around from a finial floor.
It's said that Nishi Castle has Tenshukaku, but it isn't reconstructed.
There is a building in which the part of the "old Konoe house" of a court noble in Kyoto was reconstructed in 1995 in the site in a Ninomaru, and it's put in for free of charge.
I look at a Japanese Karesansui garden of and take a break while receiving powdered green tea & Japanese confection set ¥400.
"Nishio-city reference library" is also in the park, and material related to history of Nishi Castle is exhibited. It's also free.
Next I go to the Tojo Castle in about 7 km of southeast in Nishio station.
There is Tojo castle in "Old castle park".
Yoshiuji-Ashikaga builds this castle on the east side by Nishio-city at 1225, and "Tojo Kira" was the lord of castle.
There are Otemon gate, Watchtower turret and wooden fences, and "Dorui" in this castle.
Otemon and Watchtower are black-painted are making old warlike ages.
I climb from the entrance.
Soon find a gate, after gate arrive at Sannomaru spreads ahead of it.
A Ninomaru is Hachiman shrine on the left side of the Sannomaru.
It's an old castle park ahead of the Sannomaru, and when I pass through Otemon gate, a big Honmaru ground spreads.
There is Watchtower on the left side of Otemon gate.
It's enclosed by iron barriers of construction, and mentioned with "danger" at present because both of Otemon and Watchtower have been hurt.
Wooden fence is next to Otemon gate, and outside of wooden fence is "Dorui".
It's a steep cliff outside of "Dorui", it protects castle.
Please take the picture whole Honmaru ground with Otemon and Watchtower in the background. It'll be the commemorative photograph which seems to be a castle in warlike ages.
Next go to Terabe castle.
Terabe castle is in the southeast in about 14 km of south of Nagoya Railroad Nishihazu station from Tojo castle.
For the castle which isn't also on a car navigation equipment, please confirm the detail location at Hazu library.
A foundation year and a building person are unclear, but Mr. Ogasawara was the lord of castle in warlike ages in 1514. It was a deserted castle because Mr. Ogasawara as well as Ieyasu-Tokugawa moved to Kanto area in 1590.
There is also the same name castle in Toyota-city and Nagoya Minami ward, but they are different castles.
I climb and take a steep slope from a guideboard in Terabe ruin of the castle.
A guideboard of a Ninomaru and an Honmaru is being seen.
First I go to Honmaru.
The area of Honmaru is small, and Tenshukaku is not built.
The map of the castle in those days is checked by a guide bulletin board.
Kuruwa, Dorin are left well by a Low mount castle.
Honmaru heigh is about 30 m of altitude.
Nimomaru is under Honmaru.
This castle was important spot of traffic in warlike ages.
These 3 castles aren't famous in particular, but Tojo castle and Terabe castle are the castles which often reproduced warlike ages in particular.
Please take a walk slowly, and taste a castle’s actual fighting feeling of warlike ages.
that’s it.
