I would like to inform trip for Fushimi Castle, Fujimori Shrine at south of Kyoto city.

I get off at Tanbabashi station of Keihan train.
Walk east about 10 minutes, I arrive at Kanmu Tenno's grave.
This is a big grave with beautiful sands.

I walk east 5minutes, arrive at Fushimi castle.

Right side of the parking, Big castle gate is seen.

Fushimi castle is no charge.

I enter this gate, Tenshukaku & Small Tenshukaku are existing.

Entering this castle is not available, but we can look outside near Tenshukaku.
Through small park, we can see Tenshukaku in detail.

This Castle was established by Hideyoshi-Toyotomi,and rebuilt at 1964 as a part of Fushimi-Momoyama Castle Land.
It was built by concrete.
Fushimi-Momoyama Castle Land was closed at 2003, this castle was kept.
But reason of Tenshukaku & Small Tenshukaku having not keep enough strength, we can not enter these inside.

Nowadays many travelers see this castle and feel enough satisfaction, and take a picture with castle.

I see all area of castle.
Tenshukaku's wall paint has peeled off, and the stone walls having a gap.

I hope Tenshukaku will be reinforced near future.

Next I go to Fushimi Momoyama sports park.
There are soccer field, baseball field.

Next I go to Fushimi North moat park.

In this park, you can enjoy cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves in automn.
People living near area are enjoying jogging at this park.

Next I go to Fujimori shrine.
Walk 15 minutes, arrive at Fujimori shrine.

This shrine was built at 203, and it's god is Horse and fortunes of war.
Current this shrine gathers faith of horse race related persons and fans.
I enter from south gate.

There is a house where a picture of a horse race was drawn.

I go further, there is a hall of worship, and there is a statue of Horse in the west side.

Go forward, a main hall in the back of the hall of worship, I pray here.

There is a famous water called "Fuji's water" on the east side of the main hall.

People are drawing water.
It seems to be delicious water.
Hydrangea and ginkgo are beautiful shrines.

Fushimi castle and Fujimori Shrine are both free to enter.
Please visit before you dismantle.

That's it.
