(Tulay Project) English after Japanese language
7年前に始まったアイキャンの絵手紙交流トゥライプロジェクト。今年は、日本とフィリピンの約4,500人の児童・生徒が参加し、「平和」をテーマに、絵手紙を通じた交流を行いました。日本から送られた絵手紙は、フィリピン各地のアイキャン事業地や提携校に送られ、その一部はミンダナオ中部の紛争地域の子どもたち（写真）にも届けられました。
トゥライとは、フィリピンの言葉で「橋」という意味です。両国の「架け橋」になることを祈って名付けられました。私たちは、若者の対等な異文化交流が、平和な社会を作ると信じています。来年以降の参加希望校を募集しています。

This year, 4,500 children and youth in Japan and the Philippines participated in Tulay Project ( postcard exchange project ) with a theme “Peace”. Those sent from Japan have already arrived in many project sites of ICAN and partner schools in the Philippines. The pictures are from Pikit, Central Mindanao. “Tulay” means bridge in Filipino language and it implies “bridge” of multi-cultures. We hope this project by children and youth leads to peace. Any schools in Japan and the Philippines are welcomed to participate.
