学校の修復を担うのは、地域のお父さんたち。ある男性は、「今、僕の子どもは4歳だけど、小学校に入学したら、お父さんが、この教室を直したと言うんだ。」と誇らしげに話してくれた。教育を再生するだけではなく、被災された人々の折れかけた心を再生していくことが大切だと学んだ。

フィリピン中部の島を横断した超大型の台風30号（ハイエン）の被害に対し、アイキャンでは、これまでの20年間のフィリピンでの活動経験を活かし、緊急救援活動を実施しています。現在、小学校120教室の修復／建設を進めております。ご協力をよろしくお願いします。また、ご友人への当ページの「ご紹介」、「シェア」「いいね」もよろしくお願いします。

it is mainly the fathers in the community who participate in this school rehabilitation project. One father shared a story. "My child is now 4 years old. but when he becomes the age to enter this elementary school, I will tell him that I was the one who rehabilitated his school." We have learnt that it is important to rehabilitate not only classrooms but also the heart of the people who lost confidence in their lives.
