信じる道を行く
To go on the road you believe:

これが正しい道だと固く信じているのであれば、その道がどんなに険しかろうと、どんな悪天候に遭遇しようと、その道をまっすぐ頂上まで登るべきだと、私は心に決めた。
As long as I firmly believed this path was right, I had decided to directly go on the path up to its top, no matter how hard it may be, or what kind of bad weather you may face.

以来私は全員が一緒に頂上に到達できるように、他人へと同様、自分にも常に厳しい姿勢で臨み続けた。安易な道はたいていの場合、ゴールへ導いてくれないのである。
Since then I have always been severe to myself, as well as to others, so that all the members can reach the top together. In most cases, easy going will not lead you to the goal.

本当の思いやりとは、真にその人のためになるかどうかを考えて事をなすこと。だから、ときには一見冷たく見られる態度や厳しいことばが、非常な思いやりである場合もあるのである。（思いやり）（松下幸之助の言葉から）
Real consideration for others is your doing things for them after you think if it's really beneficial to them. So, sometimes your behavior or words looking indifferent and severe may be very considerate to them. (kindness)
