Discuss things with your real opinions expressed:

経営課題を解決していこうと思えば、「あなたのやり方のここが問題だと思います。こうすべきでしょう」と幹部同士でもズバズバ本音で議論しなければならないのに、ストレートなものの言い方をして人間関係が壊れてしまっては困ると、どうしても建前で話をしてしまう。
In order to solve the management problems, people have to discuss things with their honest opinions expressed, like boldly saying " I think this point in your procedures is a problem, which should be changed into like this..." even between executive directors. But the reality is not so, with the discussions going on along the official line, because there are concerns among people that saying a thing in a too straightforward way would break human relationships there.

経営では毎日が修羅場ですから、建前論で済ませられるわけがない。会社を伸ばしていこうと思えば、本音をぶつけ合わせなければならないのです。
Every day is a battle field as it were in business. There is no dealing with things only with the-official-line discussion. If you want to advance your company, you have to have your people make discussions expressing their real, honest opinions.
