1: Two large Japanese food manufacturers have found insecticide in their instant noodles, triggering a food scare.
日本の食品会社2社のインスタントラーメンに殺虫剤が入っていたのが分かり、食品危機が広まっている。
2: First, Nissin - which invented the instant noodle - recalled 500,000 pots after a woman became ill. She had eaten from a cup containing insect repellent.
最初、インスタントラーメンを発明した日清食品が、女性が気分を悪くしたのを受けて50万カップを回収した。彼女が食べたカップに殺虫剤が入っていた。
3: Now another Japanese food giant, Myojo, says it too has found the same substance in two of its own pots.
次に、別の日本食品会社の明星が自社の2個のカップに同じ成分が入っていたと発表した。
4: The incidents are the latest in a series of scares that have shaken the confidence of Japanese consumers.
