～～～Chembe Water Project～～～
The aim of the Chembe Water Project is vital. It is to provide safe drinking water for the villagers of Chembe, Cape Maclear, on the southern shores of Lake Malawi. Traditionally, the people of the village have drawn their drinking water from the shore. Drawing water directing from the lake is unsafe as this water has become contaminated and no longer safe resulting in illness and high mortality especially amongst children and other vulnerable members of the community.
こうやって村人たちは安全なお水を飲むことができるのです。
